Just wonderful. It had everything. Tucked within the walls of a small medieval town, it was peaceful and relaxing. Fabulous views of the landscape from the lounge and dining room. Kitchenette with everything and good sized bathroom. Internet was available and street parking closeby. Spacious bedroom with plenty of space for bags. Good restaurants close by. Fabulous views nearby looking...

We agree with the reviews others have logged. We had a lovely six nights at Stable Cottage in early June 2010 and thanks to Glen and Sharman, the caretakers we also had great fun. The walking tracks are fantastic as you can go as far as you want and see some beautiful scenery. One discovery less than 20 minutes away...

St Agnes is a stunning village with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean and Menton. It’s a wonderful place to relax in a historic and friendly place.
We stayed in the Corsican Cottage which was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Although there was just the two of us, this is a place where we could easily bring the whole family....

I am a fussy gal who has travelled extensively and have very high (pardon the punn - you are actually 750 metres above sea level here!) expectations. What a dreamy destination. This is one of the dreamiest places I have visited in France... The village of St. Agnes is perfectly preserved in it's medieval charm, and the lack of tourists makes it even more charming. The Stable Cottage is beautifully maintained and decorated, with views out over the sea, mountains, and the lovely garden. This is THE perfect place to indulge...

Meet Anita the host who knows what shes doing
Hearty and light, the cottage so bright
Village so quant and quiet at nights
Go see for yourself, But NOT if you have a...

We stayed at Stable Cottage in April. The weather was mixed at first, becoming warmer as the week progressed. From the outset we were appreciative of the fresh mountain air. Ste Agnes is a small quaint village, reminiscent of times gone by. Stable Cottage was cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed for a week’s break and more (an...

What an amazing place! The Stable Cottage, with its spectacular views, provided us with everything we could ever need. The location in Ste. Anges gave us insight in to old world, mountain living (wonderful cobblestone, amazing people, lovely shops). With hiking right outside our front door, we were able to experience a tough trail which lead to another mountain town...
