We have stayed at this site with our motor home for a number of years and our main reason for returning has been the location. The town of Mandelieu with a variety of supermarkets, boulangerie, tourist office etc is within a 10 minute walk. There is a large geante Casino supermarket also which is about a 20 minute walk. In... More

No way is this place 4 star, I spent around 3 1/2 weeks at this campsite and after the second day wished I'd not booked it. It was around 2000 euros and not the quality you would expect for that sort of money. Some of the senior staff were rude and unapproachable. Its very very noisy indeed and the fact... More

I think some of the previous reviews are a little harsh, you all need to remember that you are CAMPING and NOT staying in a 5 star hotel. My wife and I stayed for 11 nights. We arrived late, 22.00, on a Saturday evening and were greeted by two facility staff members and taken to our pitch. The pitch was... More

We booked to stay here in July and August 2013, for myself, my husband and our 14 year old son. On arrival you are asked to pay the balance of your stay prior to being shown your camping pitch, this is obviously a ploy, as once you have seen your pitch there if nothing you can do other than pay... stayed 10 nights in Sept.2012.in a touring caravan.Best feature of site is its location.i.e within walking distance of beaches and the town centre and large supermarket.Worst feature... the noisiest campsite and the most expensive site we have ever used.I know the campsite can do nothing about overhead air traffic but it was relentless as was the road traffic noise and... - Small uneven pitch due to roots - ANTS - we re-pitched our tent twice in the plot and the tent was covered within 30 minutes each time - Pizza place by entrance of the campsite - We were given the wrong pizza and manager was stroppy when we advised him of the problem - No curfew on entrance -... We found this site (which is quite small) very friendly. The staff were really helpful. The pitches well shaded. The pool small but lovely. We liked the fact that this was 'in town' so we had a massive choice of places to eat and see without driving. The beach is about 15 minutes walk, but an interesting walk. The Chinese... More

Pros. Great location 5km from Cannes. Compact campsite in Mandelieu La Napoule with good swimming pool. Situated 1000m from beach, supermarket and junction to motorway. Site is organised well and has good sized pitches. Cons. Some noise from Mandelieu airport. Washrooms don't have soap or paper. Some of the pitches are dark due to too many trees.
