Good location: short walk to the beach, city center but still pretty quiet. Nice staff. During summer, I would not recommend it to families since lots of young students go there to party - it can get noisy. Good quality/price ratio.

So i have given this 5 star because it was really good value for money. It isn't marketed as a top class hotel. It is what is is a basic, comfortable room in a great spot in Juan Les Pins. Really short walk to the beach, the train station and bars. The room was secure and clean. The reception staff... More

I stayed at au tropico hotel in october 2012 and was a nice experience. The rooms are not so impresive but are clean and the bathroom is clean and spacious. The hotel is close to the train station and to the beach but the neighbourhood seems a bit risky.

The location is excellent, really close to nice public and private beaches. The city center is also nearby. An inexpensive public parking (0.60 euro an hour, free at night) is just around the corner. The room has air conditioner. The breakfast is too expensive, so we skipped it. Unless you need jam, baguette and orange juice, I recommend buying a... More

I am a little ambivalent to this hotel, because some things were very good, whereas others were returning irritations. I stayed for almost two weeks because of work in the nearest city of Cannes. Trains were frequent during daytime and took only ten minutes (but the last one is at 20.45 on weekdays, so beware!), so Juan-les-Pins is a great... More

Spent three nights here with a friend whilst visiting Antibes/Juan les Pins area. Most impressed with this hotel. Good value for money. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Even whilst leaving, they were eager to offer us advice on other places worth visiting in France. The rooms were clean and tidy. Shower was good. I can't really fault the place.... More

Au tropico was ok to stay, but I won't go back. No real problems there, but the hotel owner seemed to worry all the time, that we ruin his property. He sopke english only when it was neede to get the information thru. But if I asked something, he forgot his capability of speaking. That felt a bit rude. Rooms... More

If you get a room facing the street, you’ll be hearing cars, lots of noisy scooters, train (50 m away) and overflying planes. Though the street is narrow it is one of the busiest in the town. When all that adds up you get a mild headache and fresh air seasoned with fumes. The staircase is narrow and walking up... More

As previous reviewers have stated this hotel is more like a B & B and is set back a block or two from the seafront in central Juan les pins. Our room was situated at the front of the building and had floor to ceiling window/doors opening on to a tiny balcony with classic designed wrought iron balcony railings. The... More

The owners of the property were very helpful as we contacted them before a trip to change my single room to a twin room. My friend from San Francisco arrived before me and they let her check in early, let her use the wi-fi in the dining room as she waited for the room to be cleaned, even loaned her... More
