I discovered Hotel Cecil when I had to leave an unsatisfactory hotel in Juan les Pins. I was first attracted by the lovely gate and front porch. The owner was gracious when I asked for a last minute room. The room was not large, but cheerful and comfortable. The elevator worked well, as did wifi and air conditioning. The breakfast... More

Way to expensive, 60 €/night, for what they have to offer. At list under the Cannes Festival period. I stayed in a single room, single bed. The room was smelling bad, hard to say what kind of smell, the walls are very, very thin so if you have respectful neighbours you might sleep. Don´t buy their breakfast, it´s a bluff.... More

The Cecil may not be elegant, but it's quiet, convenient and has everything you need, including an electric outlet that is actually near the writing desk, an elevator, and a real trash basket . And the location can't be beat --a few minutes from the beach and the train station.

Liked the town, but as far as the hotel goes it isn't all that. The owners need an urgent reality check, otherwise just fine. Not super clean, if dust and dirt bug, then please go somewhere else, also don't expect much from the service.

Good location to travel around, near the beach and transportation Traditional French hotel, room has the expected comfort level (bathroom are a little small). Located on a small side street the hotel was quiet with a very nice front patio. The service was good, handled by the owners, English is limited but they have a lot of info available. (-)... More

We stayed at Hotel Cecil for one night in march and one night was enough for us. The building looked nice from the outside but was very worn on the inside. The staff was nice but did not speak much english. The rooms was OK, but not very clean. The floors in the room was all moisty. The bathroom was... More

The Michelin Guide used to count for something, so when we needed a simple hotel for a one night stay we picked this Cecil, also because everything else was booked out. The hotel looks nice enough from the outside, but that's about it. Rooms and hallways are in dire need of redecorating. Beds are just clean enough to sleep in... More

I was in this hotel a year ago. and it was not so good, because the rooms were not all clean and one morning we had a mouse in the breakfast-room.

I was lucky to found this small hotel on a quite small side street in the middle of town. The hotel has a great French charm and convinient if you want to travel by train.Everything is around the corner, beach, restaurents....The hotel is simple but has all the amenities one may need. I really enjoy te front patio. If you have... More
