A group of 10 friends and I recently stayed at Club du Soleil in Isola 2000. There was an initial mishap, as one of the group arrived before the rest of us, and he was not allowed to have his room until I arrived to pay for all the rooms. He was also not able to work in the lobby,... More

I read some pretty bad reviews of this hotel before going along for the Easter weekend, but my experience was completely positive - lovely room with a balcony and fantastic views, excellent coffee-making machine in the room, and the hotel was in a terrific location. The buffet meals were a treat, especially the breakfast, but over three nights I found... More

This is our second time to Isola and we were thrilled with the convenience of this hotel. The room was spacious, comfy beds, with a great shower. The food was lovely and we particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit salads, yogurts and muesli. Although our son loved the Pain au chocolate and other tasty delights. It was nice to have a... More

We had an absolutely terrible check-in experience which began with the desk clerk (Maxime) watching, with nothing but a snicker, as my mother struggled carrying 3 suitcases down several sets of stairs. We had an equally dissatisfying welcome as he bluntly told us that the 2 rooms we booked were separated by 3 floors. This was particularly a problem because... More

I think you just have to accept that the star system for Ski hotels is just different from hotels in a town or city, this is no exception. The room was OK if a little on the small side and there did seem to be a lack of draw space for clothes. The swimming pool was joke, the jacuzzi at... More

Isola 2000 is the best ski resort in France..... no exceptions. The pistes are easy access from the hotel, and all are well maintained, beautiful wide expanses of snow, and would be an absolutely wonderful place for children to learn to ski. I have been about 10 times to this resort - 9 of which I have had sunshine all... More

This hotel is not worth 300 euros a night plus. Swimming pool you couldn't drown a mouse in. Awful food. Desultory service. At half the price maybe but we would never stay here again. Rooms are ok but the whole resort is like being stuck in an old shopping mall, no town or atmosphere. I hear Auron is much nicher.

We went away with friends and normally we have a chalet. I have to say I was nicely surprised. The room was small. To the point where we couldn't open the wardrobe without moving the bed but the view was of the ski slope. The room was clean and there was plenty of hot water for the shower or bath.... More

Le Pas du Loup is right at the piste in an excellent location. You can only book all-inclusive. All meals are buffets, and quality is fine. Drinks, snacks etc during daytime is plentifull. Rooms - even Superieur Triple - are fairly small. Forget the "swimmingpool" - its only for kids. All in all a very good hotel for kids. The... More

It really is ski in/out with the piste right outside our bedroom window. The food and service were both excellent plus it was great value for money. We did not really explore the small village as we had an all inclusive deal. Highly recommended.
