The hotel is summed up by the fact they have a picture of a swimming pool on their brochure which is 15kms away from the hotel! It is dirty, dusty, tatty, very old and also very expensive for what you get. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Built around 1980 judging by the decor, nothing has changed since and the hotel is like a tired poorly maintained time warp. We stay always in 5 star hotels around the world and very very often get disappointed with the service. Hotel La Chastillon is the best example of a simple, old but clean hotel whereby the lack of real luxury is 100% compensated by the warnth of the staff, without exception, whom are genuinly friendly and nice!
