Not the most modern, not the best room decor but fantastic views from the dining-breakfast room and above all the sea water pool on the edge of the sea.... Went for a photo shoot in august and everything went really smooth, great people at the desk and friendly young patron from the original founders family.I would have stayed another day....

We went to the hotel in May. Stayed here for two nights and went to Porquerolles . The view from the hotell is amazing. The straff so friendly and helpfull. They even picked us up at the port when we came back from a day trip to Porquerolles, without any exstra cost. We loved the breakfast out on the terrace.... More

Only two nights at the hotel but first was a Sunday and this was to be fish buffet night! The room was comfortable with soft pillows and just the right firmness of bed but sadly the bathroom was not right with just a small bath and a token shower with no screen or curtain. Maybe other bathrooms have different arrangement.... More

The cosy hotel has two restaurants. A cheaper one where the locals have their lunch and a gourmand restaurant. We had grilled fish (very fresh from the local fisherman) with mixed veges ( a bit overcooked) and our friends well prepared beef followed with a tasty desert buffet (home made). Not a place for party go-ers but fantastic for a... More

After showing some friends around Giens, I decided to treat them to an aperitif at Le Provencal. The view from the restaurant terrace was amazing and it felt as if it would be the perfect end to a lovely day exploring the area. Firstly, we had to hunt down someone - anyone! - to take our order. We ordered 3... More

We didn't stay at the hotel but went to the restaurant for a fun night out while staying in Giens. The service was incredibly long and not very good. The menu is not impressive and the food was terrible and overpriced. Would not recommend it ever. The only saving grace is the view. Would be a good place for a... More

We ended our month long trip to Europe with a stop here for four nights. The rooms are good, the views great, the staff very helpful and enough of them are billingual to assit any English only speakers. There's a private pool and swimming area in the ocean about a 200m walk downhill from the hotel. We spent a couple... More

We first visited this lovely and very French hotel 20 years ago and have wanted to return ever since. Luckily this time we could afford a room with a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean and the beautiful Porquerolles islands. It also gave us shelter from the chilly Mistral winds which sometimes occur in this part of France making the sea rather... More

This is a charming, family-run hotel with stunning sea views. They provide an extremely friendly and attentive service. The rooms are light, airy and comfortably furnished. It is ideal having the choice of gourmet restaurant or bar/bistro. Similarly, beneath the pines on the seafront there is a choice of lunch restaurants. All serve an excellent standard of food; reasonably priced.... More

This is a wonderful example of a classic French resort hotel. Only open half the year the building is furnished in traditional style, in the main part of the hotel the bedrooms are good size and furnished adequately, bathrooms are functional but quite good enough. The restaurant is comfortably old fashioned with good food, friendly correct service, including the wonderful... More
