Just came back from Cote D'Azur. Booked this hotel based on reviews and was not disappointed at all. Nice hotel to relax and unwind. The town is close to the major cities and quaint towns in the riviera. This is a great location to be based for some car travel.

Whilst on a fortnight in Frejus we decided to spend a night at l'Arena to show our kids where we had stayed when last in town 11 years ago. Apart from some improvements to the hotel it was just as we remembered with excellent service, well planned rooms and a great garden and pool area. We'd highly recommend a visit... More

We picked this hotel as it was very close to the railway station, but that's not its only asset. The staff on reception were always helpful, the room (in the new block) was large and comfortable with a view of the pool (unfortunately it was too cold to use the pool whist we were there) and the restaurant served lovely... This hotel has been reworked from old buildings and has a charming ambience in the old part of Frejus. There is some noise from the road below and the trains rushing by but this is ameliorated by the pretty garden and swimming pool with exotic foliage and the french windows are fully insulated for a good night's sleep. The decoration... More

It was a nice visit Staff were helpful Hotel rate was excellent Room was a little basic, bed not the most comfy and the street noise was a little off putting whilst trying to relax Restaurant food was very good I would return but the car park price was rather high

What a find! We booked this as a St Valentine package, and it was outstanding value. Warm reception; beautiful large suite; champagne and a rose in the room. The restaurant staff were equally welcoming and professional. An outstandingly good meal, and of course, more champagne. The chef had created a well balanced menu, with excellent presentation. He even used parsnips... More

I stayed here for two weeks as a base for a watercolor painting workshop. Two years ago I had been here for two weeks, also. Staff had changed a bit, but the service was still very good. People at the front desk were very helpful in answering our questions, suggesting restaurants and even assisting us in arranging a kayak trip... More

The hotel was very pretty around the swimming pool and on the terrace, the food looked nice though we never ate there. The staff weren't that friendly or helpful seemed indifferent . There never was anyone on bar duty so was impossible to get a drink .The room was small two single beds pushed together but comfortable even though it... More

Great hotel, large room, Nice little pool but most of all this hotel has a excellent restaurant with a very good winecard. I reccomended the wine of the chateau Cabrand its excellent! Staff is very friendly, cleaning is ok. Breakfast is ok, but average. You have to keep in mind that its not on the seaside, its take a walk... More

We stayed four persons (two adults and two teenagers) in a suite with plenty of space. Very nice with a separate large bathroom. Also enough space for our clothes. However, the room was not so well cleaned (dustballs) when we arrived. The breakfast buffé was very good with a lot of choices for all tastes. The hotel has a central... More
