I am not sure if this hotel is totally sleazy or just sort of sleazy and suffering from a lack of communication among staff. While I was staying at the Hotel des Parfum both myself and several friends had problems with one or more of the following: reneging on the lower “residence” price although it had been offered verbally; paper... Really great place to stay in Grasse. Loved the pool, and the bottom floor rooms with a full patio. The patio not only has a beautiful view of the town, but also has a table and chairs to relax and enjoy some food and wine. The hotel has great views and is an easy walk to the main center for... Stayed there during Cannes film festival, but their prices were not inflated and having been informed on expedia to hurry up, one room available, we booked at 119 euros a night. Bit of trouble finding it the roads around Grasse are not for the faint hearted, very twisty and steep! They immediately upgraded us to a poolside room with a... More

Adequate hotel, perched on a hill overlooking the quaint city of Grasse; a few blocks walk puts you in the center of town. I was with a group of people, so saw quite a few different rooms. Hotel is decorated with scattered displays of vintage perfume bottles to justify the name. Has a small outdoor pool. A few rooms on each... More

I stayed at this hotel with a group of friends on a tour of the local perfume industry. On the plus side: large rooms and clean rooms with kitchens, friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast, within walking distance of restaurants and a supermarket, air conditioning. On the downside: ugly rooms and common areas, lack of full-time front desk staff, having... More

Hotel des Parfums is a reasonably priced, no frills hotel situated centrally in Grasse. The pros: Rooms are functional and clean, the air conditioning works and they have a fridge, stove, microwave, crockery and a dishwasher in each room. Front desk staff are helpful and will book your restaurant reservation etc. The breakfast is very nice, and the coffee machine... More

My mother and 2 other sisters stayed two nights in this hotel and were very pleased overall with our stay there. Before we went we checked out the location and thought it would be perfect, as it is just "up the hill from the old historic part of town" which would be super for our plans to visit the nearby... Positives: We drove, so location was not a problem- parked in their lot right in front of the hotel; very easy to get to Our room was a good size with a (balcony with mountain view to the left) and so was the bathroom- with a tub and lots of shelf space All staff were very friendly and helpful Hotel... First, what we liked: * a VERY nice administration. * Our room was cleaned thorowghly everyday, even on Easter, and towels have been changed daily. * Very nice view on the valley, swimming pool from a BiiiG terrace. What we didn’t like: * it definately needs a renovation which hasn’t been done despite the previous winter season, when normally such... More

It's a steep climb up rather a lot of steps if you're not in a car, but there's a lovely view of Grasse once you're at the top. It's a large hotel with all the usual amenities (although we never did manage to locate the swimming pool). Our room was more of an appartment, with a kitchenette and large balcony.... More
