This place is beyond comprehension! First, you are staying in a medieval village, in a medieval house. Yes, you actually are staying in a place where families used to live for hundreds of years. The suite has the medieval character, but is equipped with anything modern you can imagine. A steep stairway (almost a ladder) leads to the roof top... More

We spent last weekend at this hotel. It is bliss. perfect location, wonderful room, amazing breakfast and best of all, wonderful hosts. Also loved spending breakfast chatting to the other guests. We just want to go back for a week (at least). Don't go anywhere else

A friend recommended that we stay at La Bastitde aux Camelias for our last few days in France before returning to the U.S.---and it was perfect. The setting was magnificent with great views, beautiful surroundings including gardens, terraces and a pool, and was centrally located for touring the Cote d'Azur. The owners, Fred and Sylviane, made us feel comfortable from... More

We were very fortunate to spend a week in this enchanting Bed and Breakfast. Everything about this property was amazing. The breakfasts each morning with fresh orange juice, assortment of breads and croissants accompanied by home made thick jams, and cheeses that melt in your mouth. Our room overlooking the exquisite gardens and inviting swimming pool was beautifully appointed. It... More

We just spent a few nights at the Bastide and I think it was too expensive for off season. The breakfast was lovely and the setting very nice but we stayed there during a chilly week and the room never really warmed up despite radiator and the water in the shower was often rather cold. Also the whirlpool didn't work..... More

Out of the four hotels we stayed in our 18 day trip, this is the only hotel I could give an excellent to. We stayed at their B&B for one night as the suite was already booked for the time we wanted to stay. We were greeted by Sylviane and she was very friendly and gave a tour of all... More

We stayed for two nights in May as part of an overall road trip around the South of France and we could not have chosen a better place to start our trip. Fred and Sylviane are welcoming, warm and just delightful. They received us as if we were long lost friends and were so accommodating and proud of the region... More

We stayed for 2 nights at Easter and highly recommend to stay here! The suite is a fantastic place situated at the very best spot in the old village. You have 3 floors: living room downstairs, bedroom & bathroom combined upstairs + a roof terrace. The bathroom is thoroughly modern. The roof terrace is small, but the view is breathtaking.... More
