Beautiful view, but the view is mainly from the restaurant. The only view from our room was from the top half of the bedroom window., which you had to stand on your tiptoes to see. Towels were threadbear. Bathroom was surface clean but could use a major renovation. The building is centuries old and has a damp, musty spell. Dinner... more

We went to this hotel last week for my mum's 60th birthday. The whole family including partners/husbands, so overall we had 4 rooms between us for 3 nights. The most expensive room cost us 750 Euros per night. For a hotel which was meant to have such a high rating I have too many issues/complaints to list them all; but... more

Chateau Eza was the perfect ending to our honeymoon. Starting from St Tropez, we worked our way across the french riviera and ended up in one of the most gorgeous rooms we have ever stayed in. We stayed in one of their suites for about 4 days. The room was emmaculate and very very spacious. We had a huge bathroom,... more

My husband and I spent two nights at the Chateau recently and loved it! We could not believe how spectacular the view was as well as how enchanting the medieval town of Eze was. We paid a bit extra for a room with a balcony which had views of both the mountains, Jardin Exotique and the sea. From our room... more

Faced with the prospect of staying overnight in Nice which, for various reasons we quite regularly are, why do we keep going back to Chateau Eza? The rooms, while immaculate and tastefully furnished, are fairly small and, unless you go for the top end options have partial (i.e. fairly limited sea views), the bar area is uncomfortably laid out, the... more

First, the description of the room on the website is wrong. The Superior does NOT have any view overlooking the coast (as they will inform you if you email them). Not the kind of thing you expect from a hotel that charges EUR 400.00 a night. Second, the rooms are old and smelly. Third, they are hidden charges on everything.... more

We decided to get away for a few days over Christmas taking advantage of the Chateau Eza Christmas package. The break did not start well as we had trouble finding a car to hire at Nice airport when we arrived on Christmas Eve. Consequently we paid well over the top for our short break but can only blame ourselves for... more

Only spent one night, but had a wonderful time. Location is superb, perched at the top of the medieval village (above the Chevre d'or). Beware that it is an ardous trek up to the hotel (it is more than just a few steps with lots of twists & turns while dodging tourists on small stone pathways). HOwever, the views &... more

I absolutely love this hotel because of its location and view! We stayed in suite royal for one night at 595 Euro. The room has a great view of the sea and a small private balcony. There's a nice jacuzzi but not ouside of the room. We didn't have dinner nor breakfast there because there are some bad reviews. If... more

If you are looking for a romantic escape you will not be disapointed with Chateau Eza. We stayed in the Panaramique suite and it was the most breathtaking view. Our room was 1300 meters above sea level, you are between nice and monte carlo. With ocean views to the left and the mountains to the right, it was MAGICAL. If... more
