Just minutes of some legal driving from Monte Carlo, lies a small, cosy and quintessential French town (or shall I say village) of Eze which hosts Chèvre d'Or. Not to be repeated view, impeccable staff, Michelin star restaurants with a stunning views, jaw draping breakfast and pool view of Cap Ferrat...I could go on button must simply visit the place... My daughter very kindly treated me to lunch for my 60th Birthday in October, and what a memorial lunch it was. We were very lucky with the weather for that time of year and were able to dine on the terrace. We had drinks first and was quickly joined by a furry friend called Felix who entertained us. The food... More

Spent three lovely nights back in October of this year. Based in Eze, one of the most beautiful villages I have ever visited, it's just15 mins from Monaco. We had a garden suite, on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the Mediterranean, one of the most breathtaking views I have ever come across (and I have come across plenty). There... More

This is one of the most unique and beautiful views I have ever stayed in. My wife and I spent a couple nights here while traveling thru France for our anniversary. The room had a balcony sitting on the side of a cliff overlooking the water. Breathtaking. I have never shared a bottle of champagne in a more romantic setting.... More

We have just spent two nights at the Chèvre D'or hotel in Eze. It is the most beautiful hotel I have ever experienced in my life, with exquisite rooms, sea views, perfect service and delicious food. Definitely a perfect venue to celebrate weddings, wedding anniversaries, special birthdays or just a great weekend away. Will definitely be returning.

What an amazing, magical place. If you want views to die for this is the place for you. The breakfast of eggs Benedict was one of the best we have ever had, exquisite cocktails and lovely warm staff, all the confines of a medieval village! We stayed in a classic room for two nights which even though it was the... More

We loved it so much we can not wait to return next year. The views, the grounds, the rooms were stunning. Flat comfortable shoes are a must, cobblestone walkways and steps are challenging but with the right shoes its worth the climb to the top.

This 5 star hotel must have one of the most spectacular settings anywhere in the world. Perched vertiginously high on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the Cote D'Azur, it is absurdly idyllic. The hotel rooms are distributed throughout the tiny medieval village of Eze, a warren of narrow very steep winding alley ways. Our room was at the highest... More

We celebrated our 25th anniversary by spending 3 weeks in France. This place was a joy to experience,.... accommodations, atmosphere, room size and cleanliness, views and location were all excellent for Eze. This is a difficult place to drive to, if you have a rental car just pull up the hill to the wrought iron main gate and stop, an... More

Our journey through aspects of Italy and Southern France was met with kindness, grace, hospitality and the singular creative beauty and style of the Chateau and staff. Eze is a beloved village dating back to ancient times, once blessed by an Egyptian temple now the village church atop the hill. The Chateau de la Chèvre d'Or~ of the Golden Goat~... More
