I researched the best 5 star hotels in Nice and Monacco before I left on my trip and I'm glad that I chose the Chateau. It cost me $1,200 per night and I can say that it was well worth it. The staff were incredibly efficient the rooms were luxury and the food was incredible. I have stayed in the... more

14 euros, or $20. Thank god I didn't ask for a refill. Lunch itself was pleasant, but the food was nothing out of the ordinary. more

I have been staying at the Chevre d'Or for close to ten years now, and have watched the hotel's evolution from slightly expensive but sublime romantic hideaway to its current incarnation as unabashed commercial incarnation with a pricing structure that is calibrated to oligarchs and ultra high net worth individuals only. The prices defy logic. We had dinner one night... more

This hotel was a wonderful exciting end to our trip in France. My husband enjoyed his stay. We did not need to drive another day, just enjoy the view, wine, pool and many patios. The incredible staff was so attentive and very accommodating, we could not want for such professionals who did their job well and made you feel special.... more

If you are going to stay in Eze (highly recommended for two-four nights) La Chateau de la Chevre D'or is the nicest place in town. It is not without it's challenges, but it offers both breath taking views, very personal and caring service, and a fine restaurant. However, as you will soon find out, everything at Chevre D'Or comes with... more

Don't even think to stay in this place. You can go for a one day tour and enjoyed the views of the Village. You can find good restaurant and service at a reosonable price inside. The only area that I will give a five is the SPA. Other then that is all about MONEY ! The employees make you feel... more

Went there with my parents hoping for the experience of a lifetime. The location is beautiful thats true. But the staff were unbelieveably rude and unhelpful. So arrogant. The whole place is hugely over=priced. We had lunch for 3 of us. Only 2 courses and 2 glasses of wine, not even a bottle. No desert. And it came to almost... more

Eze Village is quite small with only a few shops and two perfumerias. The medival village (which includes the Château) is the main attraction and the views are breathtaking! The exterior of the hotel looks like a castle on the edge of a cliff. Crews are working round the clock on the landscaping alone. It has a very grand approach... more

10 members of my family stayed 2 nights at the Chevre d'Or while celebrating my father's 70th birthday. We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel but our experience at the restaurant was unbelievably bad - to the point that I would recommend avoiding the restaurant altogether and eating in town instead. My wife and I had a nice room... more

We stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The hotel has a sense of privilege right from the start. You approach (very carefully) up a steep hill that only has limited car access. The valets take care of everything after that. Once on foot, you walk through the stunning gardens, out of public view, and around... more
