however,if you intend to book a room,do your homework, every room is individual and spread through the tiny alleyways. If you just want a bed and breakfast fine, but if you want a terrace with sun loungers and a view of the riviera, you really need to book junior/executive suite, (which are superb!) and you will not be disappointed. Beautiful location, stunning views, quality service and the food at both Les Jardins and the Eden Restaurant was outstanding, would come back in a heart beat, although its expensive it was worth every penny

An exceptional stay in this sublime medieval village Hotel. You must reserve a suite and wake up to the panoramic view of the French riviera then soak up the sun on your private furnished terrace. The Michelin Star (2) restaurant is exactly what you hope for and the wine list and service is smart and welcoming. If you're one to... More

Rooms and suites are spread all over the medieval historic stone village of Eze, with the hotel taking up the sea front slope of the rocks that the town was built on. Stunning views over the whole Nice region from high up, terraced 400 sqm gardens with statues, fountains and sculptures, and a bunch of very expensive restaurants (including a... More

Beautiful hotel, a little quirky and eccentric, extraordinary location in a traditional village in the south of France and stunning views. Our three day stay was fabulous. Service is efficient and gracious. The two Michelin star restaurant is exceptionally good and we enjoyed les Remparts very much too. Absolutely perfect and wonderful.

There is nothing bad to say about this piece d'resistance of the south of France. Just amazing. Yes, it's expensive but it's not meant to be affordable. And here, you get what you pay for. Most amazing view, amazing service, peace you name it. Fabulous food. A wonderful welcome served on the veranda overlooking the a view that you can... More

This was my second stay at the Chateau de la Chevre d'Or. My husband, the owner of a large travel business in the USA and we traveled to France for 2 weeks with family and friends. I booked 6 rooms at the Chateau and they were all stunning. The hotel has refurbished all the rooms since our last stay. The... More

It can't get much better than this on the French Riviera. For more personal photographs and reviews of my brief stay (and meals) at Chateau de la Chevre d'Or please visit http://ladyhattan.com/the-french-riviera/ -- overall, I had some of the best views of my trip here and loved the food, service and French rose wines they offered! This is probably a... More

Words can't describe how stunningly enchanting, intriguing and beautiful this hotel is. The views are simply incredible too. I travel a lot around the world and see many, many beautiful places but only two have stayed with me; La Fontaine (Bahrain) and Chateau de la Chevre d'Or (Eze).

Amazing ambience. The view is stunning. If you wish to eat in the two star restaurant book EARLY. the Eden restaurant where we are was however excellent. The fois gras and lamb were superb. Service excellent. The room we stayed in was on different levels and there were quite a few stairs outside to reach it. This hotel is not... More
