I Traveller to the Cap Estel 10 years of my childhood. Went back with my daughter and was very pleased to See that the beautiful grounds were kept. Its a spectacular place. Remote and still in reach of all nice CoteAzur Locations. Its lovely and would be a place we would return to frequently. But its completely overprized in my... More

Thank you Britta S for your review of Cap Estel "Childhood Memories". I have been thinking how best to respond; I note that you spent 10 years of your childhood enjoying the property and all its facilities, no doubt with family and friends. One of the features of Cap Estel is that it has history, which stretches back over many... More

If you had a dream it would be Cap Estel hotel. If you were to imagine what perfection is its Cap Estel from the building, grounds, interior, facilities this is the place. A retreat from the outside world. This is where you go to endulge in self endulgence. If the Michelin stared restaurant and the €350 shots of whiskey dosent... More

Intro: My wife and I consider ourselves very experienced travelers; ranging from sleeping in a car or boat on a beach to indulging in the worlds most exclusive restaurants and establishments. We decided to elope in Paris on 12/13/14... Given our love for the ocean, boating, and food we traveled to Southern France for our Honeymoon. I found Hotel Cap... More

This was the worst night sleep that we have ever had at a hotel. The thermostat (or motor from the louvers) would buzz loudly on and off every few minutes and was impossible to ignore. We were given free breakfast for our troubles, but this hardly offset the $600 we paid for a sleepless night. Decor also seemed dated and... More

We just came back from a long weekend. What a a hotel ! I stayed in many top hotels all around the world but have never come across anything even remotely comparable. It is a mixture between a private villa and a hotel on an exclusive peninsula, with lush sub tropical gardens , Michelin stared food and exclusive service. The... More

We stayed here Sept 23-28th, for a short Mini-Moon after our wedding. The location is fantastic, the beach peaceful and the food simply wonderful. We had such a special time, I wanted to thank all the staff personally for looking after us so well, a true five star experience. The perfect hideaway from the mania on Monaco. We travel a... More

5 stared hotel with a great 1) position 2) view 3) rooms 4) restaurant 5) spa and two swimming pools 6) private beach 7) service etc. Definitely, it is not a cheap fun but this is worth the money. Avoid it in summer but come during the best season: April-June and September-October

We really enjoyed our stay at Cap Estel. The location is beautiful and the rooms with their amazing views over the Mediterranean are first class. However I have to agree with some other reviewers that the only disappointment is the quality of the food, breakfast in particular, and the chef's apparent lack of vision with regard to dietary restrictions. On... More

Cap Estel is one of the must unique and special hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in. Probably one of the best hotels in the world...the location is unique, the setting is just incredible...and the restaurant...Patrick Raingeard is a genius and he deserves a 2nd star...he knows how to surprise you and prepare the most delicious dishes. Quality has a price : if you can afford it, not to be missed.
