First, the pictures of the hotel are completely not what I found at the hotel. When I arrived, the only "hotel staff" was not on site. I had quite some trouble to get a room in Cannes while a congress took place and received a good rate from the friendly staff at Athenee who were eager to make the stay pleasant. “Good location, but you get what you pay for”

I stayed at the hotel for one night as I needed somewhere to stay close to the old port and didn't want to pay too much. This hotel is now known as the Athenée. I stayed here during the advertising festival when it is almost impossible to find a reasonable room.
