A masterpiece ... the Renoir is a "glamorous" boutique hotel located a stone's throw from the Palais des Festivals, the boutiques on rue d'Antibes and its private beach Cbeach on the Croisette. The hotel, housed in a "belle époque" building, offers a world of luxury and elegance in Hollywood style. It offers a rare atmosphere where the delicacy of the refined colors and materials harmoniously combine with a comfort of space and voluptuousness ... Very large areas, the 31 rooms and Suites are soundproofed and are ideally designed for moments of dream and of relaxation. They are all equipped with a wifi connection, a minibar and a safe.

Detailed Reviews
Booked here last minute during the Cannes Film Festival, paid 3.5x more ($450) than its daily rate bc of this, but the room was worth it. It was considered a junior suite bc it has a unique sitting area with espresso machine separate from bedroom. Toiletries are Nuxe products (which is a nice expensive French brand).
I liked the available closet space and spacious bathroom.
The theme of hotel is very “old Hollywood glamour” and reminds me of some Baroque style buildings in Downtown LA.
The blue hotel slippers are super nice, you can always tell about quality of hotel by the slippers. I actually wore them on my flight back to LA & wore them at the airports and it survived. :)
The front desk reception is friendly and attentive. I did not have hotel breakfast but I am gluten free and don’t think they had Gf friendly options anyway.
There are steps to get to reception but there’s a mini stair elevator that they use to move luggage up or I just went up and asked the front desk to help.
Easy walk from train station but there’s also a nearby bus stop too.
From Nice airport the Uber cost me about US$50.

We had a superior room facing the small back street, not the main ring road. The windows ( a pair with central join) did not properly latch at the TOP centre,so that there was a bit of sound when some street idlers were shouting.I am sure it would be a simple repair.
The above is my sole criticism of the hotel. Our beautifully decorated room had plenty of useful furniture, and a little sitting area with desk.Aircon, fridge ,safe, kettle etc.were present and correct.
There was an actual bath in the bathroom, which also had proper functional fittings and excellent illumination.
Breakfast was good quality and a reasonable variety for such a small hotel.Reception staff were very helpful with local advice.
The railway station. can easily be reached on foot ,even with a lot of baggage. This hotel woukd be our choice on any return visit.

Stayed 3 nights during Cannes Film Festival. Hotels are all massively overpriced at that time and some are horrible so I was pleasantly surprised by the Renoir. Staff were super nice, the room was spacious and comfortable and it is 5 minutes walk from the Palais. The location is not picturesque but I didn't need that and I didn't hear any noise. I'll stay here again for sure.

The hotel offers nice comfortable rooms. It’s very clean and the staff is really nice and helpful.
The insulation of the hotel is not very good. Even we changed rooms we woke up every morning around 6am from the noise.
The breakfast is very poor, it has only coffee and croissant. There’s not soya or almond milk. If you want eggs/ bacon etc you have to pay extra on top on the normal rate of 13 euros per person for the breakfast.
Restaurants and attractions are like 10-15min walking.

I booked this hotel for honeymoon early in 2020 bfore the pandemic raised any travel concerns, and had to move it (along with my wedding). After sending 20 emails, endless phone calls, messaging on all social media platforms and getting no response I had to cancel the hotel reservation and they are not refunding a penny when we can't even legally get there. The worst part is we still want to visit, just move our reservation out but we can't get a hold of anyone on staff.

I had to cancel my reservation on the D-day, the conditions of cancelling the booking were respected. However the staff at the reception has been playing back and forth saying they need the approval of the manager. Surprisingly the manager cannot be reached. They finally didn’t not answered to my request and took the price of my first night. Be careful with the management of this hotel. Cannes is a touristic place they definitely don’t care about their guests.

Good location close to Centre and 5 mins from beach, walking.
Large, clean rooms with great bright bathrooms.
Excellent, helpful staff.
Beach access available through hotel which is really useful.
Comfortable beds.
Highly recommended . You can stay in hotels which are twice the price in Cannes and not have anywhere near as nice an experience.

The Hotel Renoir is a wonderful hotel in Cannes. Easy walk from the train station and well located. The front desk staff was kind and very helpful as were the cleaning staff. The room was beautiful and very well appointed! Roses on the bed when we arrived and a wonderful view of the ocean. Evening cocktail reception was lovely and a nice way to start the evening before we went for dinner. Would highly recommend and felt it was great value! The building is beautiful as well!

Take the Nice Airport Express Bus to Cannes (only 1 stop at SNCF). The hotel is a 5 minute walk away. Buses cost 33 Euro return pp and run every 30 mins. You can book online or buy tickets on the bus.
