We went for a weekend stay, on the fifth floor, city view. Our room was light, clean and well maintained. There was loads of hot water (had read there was an issue with this but not in our room) We had breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking the harbour, amazing! We were on a work trip to Mipformats, but also... More

We stayed in Cannes in Splendid hotel from 3 to 6 December, it was a disaster. High room rates with no service and poor quality rooms and no water. when we checked in there is very tiny lift for one person and one bag, when we finally reach the room, we found out the hotel is very very old floor... When I am here with my family we often stay here, (right now I have 3 rooms here) the very nice thing is to rent the two last room on the floor, there is a door in the hallway so you actually have one door to enter both rooms plus a little corridor, it is much better that a connection... More

Stayed at this hotel while travelling around the south of France. It is in a great location right opposite the harbour and palais de festivals but the room was the smallest I have seen anywhere in the world. Could barely get round the bed and know here to put your case/bags. The room was not as big as advertised. The... More

We do regret that the sea view you had was small which correspond in the official size of rooms for 4 stars hotels in France. Our Hotel was built in 1871 and at this time each rooms had differents size, that's why we have Superior sea view smaller or bigger. But on sea side we also have bigger rooms in... More

Beautiful hotel overlooking Cannes harbour. Booked a room for 3 adults for ourselves and our grown up daughter and were delighted to find we had an enormous room with two double beds and a large bathroom. Very characterful with high ceilings and slightly uneven floor, beautifully clean and with a fantastic harbour view from a Juliet balcony. Check in was... More

This lovely old building couldnt be more central, directly on the port which has some fabulous yachts to interest visitors. The hotel is still privately owned and Madame actively presides, even personally checking the breakfasts. the rooms public and private are tastefully decorated with interesting paintings everywhere. We stayed in a Privelege room with a view but i have stayed in an... More

Old fashioned hotel in great location close to all major attractions. You feel well and welcome the very minute you step inside the reception. City view rooms had an reconstruction last year, but ofcourse harbour view rooms are to prefer! Breakfast terrasse is great, so is the food.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay again at this delightful boutique hotel in the heart of Cannes. Sumptious breakfast in a delightful breakfast room. Comfortable bed and marble bathroom. Lovely terrace overlooking the yachts.

I have stayed at this gem of a hotel twice now & enjoyed every second on both occasions. The building itself is a thing of beauty as you approach it & has pride of place over looking the yachts, the beautiful sun kissed Mediterranean Sea & all the people strolling about in search of a cocktail or dinner in one... Get a room with a balcony on the harbourside and the location is one of the best in Cannes. View the yacht harbor, enjoy the sun all day and the seaview and live right next to the best restaurants in Cannes. Very good value for money.
