Decent room for the price, but hotel is in a somewhat dicey area -- I definitely wouldn't walk around by myself to/from this place. As someone not fluent in French, I didn't pay enough attention to the final bill and was overcharged by 40 euros. After repeated emails and documentation sent to the hotel, I never received a response. Definitely... more

The hotel is situated in a dodgy enough area of Cannes. There is a down and out house right next door. You have to cross under an underground subway to get there.Homeless people use it frequently to go to the toilet, so watch where you walk !!!The hotel is ok., rooms are small but good for the price you pay.Pool on... more

Did not enjoy our stay here at all. Firstly the hotel is in a dodgy side of town, it looks over a motorway and a train station and there is loads of homeless people sleeping rough outside the hotel. When we arrived there was one person on duty in the whole hotel, the bar was closed and the terrace outside... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in August. Hotel reception very helpful, we were given a smoking room but it was quickly changed for a non smoking when we asked. If you have a car it is worth booking hotel parking before you go as there are limited places. Breakfast was delightful with a lovely petite french lady who could... more

Arrived by car on a quiet Saturday afternoon. The receptionist was not very happy to have us "disturbing" her in her peace and quiet... Asked for parking advice as the Hotel garage was full, the fantastic anwer was "I do not use parking". Was given an upgrade due to my Platinum card. Roomsize and bathroom ok, however the room was... more

Lovely hotel with a great welcome. Room was superb, staff were helpful well beyond their obligations. It is NOT near the beach despite its claim. It is very near the station and very central. Breakfast was substantial. Price was very reasonable. more

This hotel is excellent. The only minus point is that it is overlooking the train station and busy road (however that made it extremely easy to find). The room was soundproofed so we did not actually hear any traffic noise. Now for the plus points: As soon as you walk through the hotel door you are hit by the cool... more

The hotel is right next to a highway flyover and the main railway station - we could see both from our bedroom window - but the soundproofing in the room was great and we were not disturbed ( any more than we have been in a hotel in any city). The hotel is great value for money and the staff... more

We visited Cannes the second week of June and stayed in Hotel Cannes Riviera. We arrived quite early, but we instantly got a room at the backside of the hotel. The room was not big, but not bad at all. The best points of the hotel are the large garden terrace on the first floor, with al kinds of flowers... more

very friendly staff, especially the lady at breakfast time. Hotel was very nicely decorated. The bedroom and bathroom were lovely, excellent for a 3*. Loved the paintings on the walls. Patio looked very inviting, just a shame we couldnt use it because it was too cold. Couldnt fault this hotel apart from its location - It was tucked away in... more
