The hotel is situated in a dodgy enough area of Cannes.There is a down and out house right next door. Did not enjoy our stay here at all. Firstly the hotel is in a dodgy side of town, it looks over a motorway and a train station and there is loads of homeless people sleeping rough outside the hotel. Lovely hotel with a great welcome. Room was superb, staff were helpful well beyond their obligations. It is NOT near the beach despite its claim. It is very near the station and very central. Breakfast was substantial. Price was very reasonable. more

This hotel is excellent. The only minus point is that it is overlooking the train station and busy road (however that made it extremely easy to find). The hotel is right next to a highway flyover and the main railway station - we could see both from our bedroom window - but the soundproofing in the room was great and we were not disturbed ( any more than we have been in a hotel in any city).
