My ten days at the 5 room hotel Grimaldi were very satisfying and enjoyable! The staff was outstanding and very dedicated to making clients feel welcome and well cared for, often going above and beyond what was expected or required ( Daniel, Christine, Charlotte etc) The location is excellent, with a free shuttle up and down the steep village roads,... We stayed two nights in Hotel Grimaldi with our daughters. It is located right in the heart of the village square. It is 10m to Grimaldi Castle. The breakfasts were very nice, and the staff and super friendly and very helpful. We have a great stay. The only downside is the rooms are small and really can only hold two... More

Went here to enjoy some wine. It was midnight when we were sold a BOTTLE of wine for €30 and 5 mins after we were informed that the bathrooms were closed very abruptly. I get the feeling these people are not much concerned with tourists who are spending money. Try jimmys across the way they appreciate tourists economy and are... More

Without doubt the tastiest meal of our entire holiday! We chose the very reasonably-priced menu du jour and enjoyed perfectly cooked "loup" (some kind of fish, not wolf!!), pommes puree and spiralised vegetables followed by a perfect tarte aux pommes. simple but very effective - french provincial cooking at its best. Service was efficient and friendly enhanced by the relaxing,... More

This is an ancient little hotel and restaurant in an 800-year-old hill town (until 1876 a part of Italy). The rooms have been nicely modernized but retain their original character. Great views of the surrounding area. Our room faced the town's small but lively courtyard, with many restaurants. Getting here is up a nightmarishly narrow road. When you arrive, the... More

We stayed here recently when driving through France. It is situated overlooking the main square in the mediaeval town with great views of the surrounding countryside. Inevitably in such a small town overnight parking is a problem, although we were lucky The staff were quite welcoming and helpful and the facilities in our room were very adequate. On the night... I recently spent a week at this hotel and it was a wonderful experience! Damian and Daniel were extremely helpful and made our stay relaxing and fun. We had to leave for the airport at 5:30 in the morning on a Sunday which is tricky anywhere in France but they made it seamless. We had the Jr suite which had... More

The hotel is situated on the top of the city next to the castle. There is a free shuttle bus Mon-Sun from early morning till past midnight every 15th minute, so you shouldn't worry about being up there. Even though I like to walk, the heat made it almost impossible, so the bus was nice. I had a beautiful view... More

Arriving at the restaurant after 3pm on a Sunday afternoon in January, we were expecting to be told that service was not available. But no..we were warmly welcomed and assured a late lunch for three people would not be problem. The restaurant had so much ambiance in this ancient village square with magnificent views... and our eating experience was very... More

Our room was fairly small and located on the second floor of a three story building. The staircase is narrow and winding and getting our luggage up would have been difficult for me, a senior citizen, save for the fact that staff did all the work and even parked my car. There's a restaurant on the ground floor, so there's... More
