Without doubt the tastiest meal of our entire holiday! We chose the very reasonably-priced menu du jour and enjoyed perfectly cooked "loup" (some kind of fish, not wolf!!), pommes puree and spiralised vegetables followed by a perfect tarte aux pommes. simple but very effective - french provincial cooking at its best. Service was efficient and friendly enhanced by the relaxing,... More

This is an ancient little hotel and restaurant in an 800-year-old hill town (until 1876 a part of Italy). The rooms have been nicely modernized but retain their original character. Great views of the surrounding area. Our room faced the town's small but lively courtyard, with many restaurants. Getting here is up a nightmarishly narrow road. When you arrive, the... More

We stayed here recently when driving through France. It is situated overlooking the main square in the mediaeval town with great views of the surrounding countryside. Inevitably in such a small town overnight parking is a problem, although we were lucky The staff were quite welcoming and helpful and the facilities in our room were very adequate. On the night... I recently spent a week at this hotel and it was a wonderful experience! Damian and Daniel were extremely helpful and made our stay relaxing and fun. We had to leave for the airport at 5:30 in the morning on a Sunday which is tricky anywhere in France but they made it seamless. We had the Jr suite which had... More

The hotel is situated on the top of the city next to the castle. There is a free shuttle bus Mon-Sun from early morning till past midnight every 15th minute, so you shouldn't worry about being up there. Even though I like to walk, the heat made it almost impossible, so the bus was nice. I had a beautiful view... More

Arriving at the restaurant after 3pm on a Sunday afternoon in January, we were expecting to be told that service was not available. But no..we were warmly welcomed and assured a late lunch for three people would not be problem. The restaurant had so much ambiance in this ancient village square with magnificent views... and our eating experience was very... More

Our room was fairly small and located on the second floor of a three story building. The staircase is narrow and winding and getting our luggage up would have been difficult for me, a senior citizen, save for the fact that staff did all the work and even parked my car. There's a restaurant on the ground floor, so there's... More

This small hotel in the Castle square has great modern rooms in an old building, but steep stairs (no lift). Very friendly and attentive service. A good spot to watch village life, games of boules and the great view over the valley. Good food and interesting menu. 10 minutes from Nice airport, but pot luck on finding a parking space.... More

Stayed here for two nights during early September. Really nice setting a fair distance from the town placed on top of a hill. But don't let this put you off. Small hotel, opens out on to a square with plenty of places to eat and drink. Really nice and helpfull staff and owners. If this place was nearer to home... More
