We spent only one night at Hotel Carlton but it was a very comfortable, clean, and quiet stay. The facility was close to fine restaurants, shops, and the sea. The staff was very helpful and courteous to Americans with very little knowledge of the French language. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and the clean rooms and hotel facilities. The free... Hotel Carlton is a charming little hotel set just back from the sea in quaint Beaulieu sur mer. For the area and the price, you can't beat it (based on this alone, I would give it five stars). The decor is not modern but it is clean and cute. The rooms overlooking the pool are very nice with big windows.... More

We spent a week at this very nice older hotel and found it to be clean, comfortable, great value for money. The staff was professional, friendly and courteous. The location is excellent, walking distance to great restaurants, patisserie, stores and the beautiful beach. We look forward to returning.

We spent two nights and were more than happy with the experience and value for money in that part of the world. Our room was large, clean and comfortable in traditional style. Nice pool area . Staff were very welcoming, helpful and efficient. Free parking and a short walk into town centre for restaurants , rail station and shopping . About... More

I don't like this hotel. It was build in 19th century and rennovated maybe in the middle of 20th century. Everything there is old!! Furniture are old, blinds are old, plumbing are very old.. Every time when someone opening or closing blinds an air is filled with heartbreaking metallic screech. Every morning very friendly waiter will wake you up at... More

My wife and I have stayed at the Carlton several times over the last few years. We return to this hotel because we love the town, local restaurants, surrounding area and the the hotel staff. During our last visit I unfortunately fell when out walking in the town and broke my right leg in two places. This resulted in me... More

I'm afraid that I have to say that this hotel is very average - having seen the lovely photographs and that it was a 4 star hotel I had maybe overly high expectations. The room was very small and the bathroom was very very tired with cracked bathroom tiles. I believe prices of hotels in the area and near to... More

My fiance and I stayed here for the duration of our holiday and were very satisfied overall. The staff were extremely helpful, a member of staff named Charles was exceptionally so. We were visiting from Ireland hoping to avail of sea air and sunshine, both of these aspects were entirely fulfilled. The hotel is a very short walk to the... More

We managed to get a late booking for a couple of nights in Aug. We paid €230 for the two nights for a small double, which in this area is amazing value!! After reading the mixed reviews I didn't know what to really expect. So we were delighted to find an excellent small hotel, great staff and spotlessly clean. A... More

stayed in May 14 as a couple for 4 days. we've been sur la cote many times but had never stayed in Beaulieu. It's a quiet wee town, perhaps too quiet at night but very nice all the same. Hotel Carlton is a 5 min walk from the train station/centre of town, turn left out the station go under the... More
