The location was excellent. The only drawback is that if you have packed heavy suitcases, they are very difficult to get up all the stairs. Otherwise, once you're up the stairs, you are in a little oasis that is warm and welcoming. It is in a great location to see all of the city and yet enough off the beaten... more

We fell in love with Villa Agape and the charming hostess, Michele. The rooms were beautifully appointed and the infinity pool with lovely chaises was so relaxing after spending a day touring the charming historic town. A others have said...the breakfasts were just fantastic, and Michele is a treasure. She went out of her way to help with parking, dinner... more

This was our third visit to Villa Agape during September. It isa perfect time to enjoy the beautiful pool and terrace where our gorgeous host Michele serves delicious breakfasts.. Each time we visit we look forward to seeing Michele leave on her bicycle to buy the freshest and best baguettes and croissants for her guest's breakfast. Everything about Villa Agape... more

I spent a very good time with my friend in villa agape. The host ,Michele, is warmhearted and friendly. The room in comfortable, the beautiful garden and swimming pool. The villa has good location. It's in the good block at centre of Avignon. It's very quite. We had a real Provence style life. more

I don't imagine a lovelier Bed & Breakfast with a more hospitable hostess could easily be found in such a prime locale of central Avignon. The house is a beautiful example of fine French decor, and the rooms are large, comfortable and well kept. Breakfasts are, as many have noted, a lovely treat. Michelle is a wonderfully kind hostess and... more

This is a lovely upscale home right in the center of Avignon. It's beautifully decorated, almost like a museum. The common area is calm and pretty. Michele is friendly and professional, and I would describe her as reasonably welcoming. You'll need to haul your luggage up three flights of stairs to your room, and the uppermost winding staircase has no... more

What an absolutely charming home and hostess!! The location is perfect in the old section of town. It is difficult to find, however, as the entrance is a door next to the pharmacy. Also, the B&B is up two flights of stairs, so you had better be able to carry your luggage up yourself. BUT, all that is well worth... more

This beautiful b&b in the very heart of Avignon is a true gem. Michele is a lovely host and her home is quiet and steps from the center of the city, yet very quiet. A true surprise! Not to disappoint. more

We just returned from a Viking River cruise from Avignon-Chalon-sur Soane. The food and the accommodations were very disappointing, BUT we had stayed for two nights in a B&B in the heart of Avignon before the cruise. Michele, at Villa-Agape is gracious and warm. Our room and bathroom were pleasant. The breakfasts beside the pool or in the dining room... more
