My husband and I stayed at Le Limas for 5 nights. Marion the owner was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We had The Palace Room, a huge room facing the street. The B&B is spotlessly clean and we had a great stay and Avignon is a lovely place. We highly recommend... More

This is probably the most chic B&B I've visited. Marion is a fun-loving lady and it is heart warming to hear how she fell in love with the town house in historical Avignon, and converted it into an artsy B&B. The room we had was spacious over looking the tree-lined street, with a view of the papal palace. Breakfast is... More

Le Limas is one of those bed and breakfasts you remember fondly. Marion our artist host rode with me to show where I could easily park (in the Mercure parking lot just around the corner). She was friendly and helpful, providing restaurant and shopping recommendations. The room was nicely air conditioned taking the sting out of Avignon's summer heat and... More

After a horror trip from Singapore, four hours late into CDG, missed train connection, and indifferent health due to flight food/water and then the struggle with the bureaucracy to obtain another ticket for a later train, FINALLY arrived at 51 Rue du Limas at 5.30 pm. Met by MARION and enveloped with her warm personality, fussed over and commiserated with,... More

Marion is the perfect hostess, very generous with use of the facilities, and providing great care and hospitality. The rooms are beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. The old townhouse is very chic and full of works of art. Le Limas is located very near the city walls, the river, the famous bridge and the papal palace. There is good indoor/outdoor... More

Situated in an old town house which seems once to have been an art gallery, the good things are the charming hostess Marion, the terrace overlooking the palace and the excellent breakfast. Location is also excellent. Not so good is the the struggle to get heavy luggage up the narrow stairs. No TV in the room but wifi is strong.... More

I can't say enough about Marion's care and hospitality. This location may not be the most obvious, but once there, the rooms are beautiful, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The ambiance of the entire B & B is chic and contemporary. Marion's art work strikes a stark contract of modern to the ancient city of Avignon. The view terrace and breakfast... More

My mom and I stayed 2 nights at Le Limas in late April and were so glad we chose this B&B! Our room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We were lucky to be the only guests the nights we were there and Marion took wonderful care of us...she is highly entertaining! She gave us great recommendations for dinner and... More

Excellent location, very cozy house and very good breakfast. Rooms are clean, new and cozy. There isn't a TV inside the room but for us this is not a problem. The owner is a very nice woman and I recommend to everyone that can climb stairs.

If you value modernist aesthetics and lively conversation on all kinds of topics, this the place to go to! As already pointed out in other reviews, this house and its landlady offer wonderful hospitality. If you are fit and can make your way up and down the stairs, you will enjoy everything, from the dining room on the ground floor... More
