My girlfriends and I just returned from a wonderful vacation in France. The highlight was certainly our time in Avignon. We stayed at the lovely Le Clos du Rempart. It was absolutely perfect! Aida was a delight and so helpful. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for 5 nights- it was ideal! Roomy, nicely decorated, CLEAN, - everything we... More

My son and I had just finished an exhausting 4 week language course, and simply wished for a relaxing, comfortable respite in Avignon-this is exactly what to expect from the proprietor. Aida's wonderful reviews both on TripAdvisor and elsewhere are well-deserved. She is extremely welcoming and was an exceptional guide to our trip, suggesting all the best restaurants and sites,... Our stay at Le Clos du Rempart was a wonderful experience. The room was very spacious and the bathroom large and modern. Aida was very helpful in helping us plan our daily excursions and made us feel right at home. Breakfast pastries and bread were better than what we had at our Paris hotel! Fresh squeezed orange juice every morning... More

From our internet communications regarding booking arrangements to our hugs and heartfelt "thank you" upon our departure, our six day stay with Aida Assad at Le Clos du Rempart was everything good that you could imagine. Our room was wonderful - spacious and quiet. Our breakfasts were wonderful - plenty to eat, excellent variety and always fresh, fresh, fresh. Touring... More

You wll be very happy with your choice. This is a a lovely B and B in the old city. It is a good location as you can walk any where from there. Aida is the owner and one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She gives you a simple but nice breakfast and then is so helpful... More

Staying with Aida Assad is like having a private ambassador to Provence. She has extensive information in and about the area that she tailors to each guest. We stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is located out of the heavily touristed area in a quiet corner of the walled city. The rooms are spacious and clean. The... More

Our hostess was fluent in English and always helpful in arranging reservations, travel schedules, and activity suggestions. Breakfast was fresh and a great start for busy days in Avignon. Five to ten minute walk to center of town but only blocks from enjoyable meals close by.

We spent 10 days in September 2013 at this wonderful B&B hosted by Aida. This was an exceptional experience. Aida was extremely welcoming and was a great help in recommending great days out. We would never have discovered particular places without her knowledge and advice. Rooms were peaceful, light and beautifully decorated. Breakfasts were wonderful with an array of fresh... More

We have just concluded a 3-week vacation in France (in August 2013) where we stayed in various B&Bs in Provence and then traveled to Paris. Clearly the most enjoyable part of our vacation was meeting Aida Assad and staying in her lovely B&B for 4 nights. We entered her B&B through a blue door set in a plain stone wall... More

We just returned from a 2 week vacation in France. The highlight of our trip was our stay with Aida who our 3 year old daughter fell in love with. It was the most friendly host experience of the 4 top bed and breakfasts we stayed at across France. We stayed in the beautiful blue room. We had almost singular... More
