Our stay at Le Clos du Rempart was definitely the highlight of our trip to Avignon. The B&B was clean and spacious. It is situated in a quiet, secluded location yet very close to the main sights including the Palais du Papes. Madam Aida was a delightful lady who took care of all our needs. She was extremely friendly and... More

We arrived by train from Bordeaux to Avignon in the evening. Took a taxi to the B&B Aida had only the apartment for 4 available and she stocked the fridge with necessary foods and fruits. She was very helpful with everything we needed. Directions to all the attractions within 15 minutes of walking. Some restaurants with within 5 minutes. There... More

Le Clos du Rempart is a delightful find. A warm welcome awaits from Aida, who is friendly and helpful with advice. The breakfast is special. The table is full of treats every morning and taken in the pergola in the interesting walled garden. The house is situated within easy walking distance of all the sights including the river and Le... We found our B&B address on a tiny street and met the owner, who was very sweet, helped us find great restaurants ("No. 75", and "Cuisine du Dimanche") and spoke perfect English. Her home is lovely and spacious. Breakfast was a treat, including fresh fruit, croissants, butter & jams, cereals, and cafe au lait or tea. She had great advice... More

We stayed at Le Clos due Rempart for 3 nights in May. Aida was such an incredible resource for exploring the area and she recommended a wonderful restaurant, No. 75, that we really enjoyed. She made a delicious breakfast each morning and her jasmine-scented courtyard is pure heaven. All the rooms have wonderfully huge and beautifully tiled bathrooms - I... More

We stayed in the two-bedroom spacious apartment. We would bring in food and wine from the markets and enjoy dinner at home if we didn't want to go out to eat. Each bedroom has two twin beds. The bathroom is large with a great shower. It was all beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and it is obvious Aida thinks of every... More

Our family recently stayed at a B&B in Avignon, France called Le Clos du Rempart* and absolutely loved it.  Everything about it was outstanding.   We had a 2-bedroom apartment on the top floor with a large living room/dining area,  fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with an enclosed shower stall. The owner, Aida Assad, was extraordinary.  She served an... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Le Clos de Rempart, within the 700-year-old walled city of Avignon, for a seven-night holiday in April 2015. All the parts of the hotel - the rooms and bathrooms, breakfast room, sitting room and courtyard - are decorated with marvelous taste and character, kept very tidy, and impeccably clean. With so many wonderful features... More

We spent a week at Le Clos du Rempart in Avignon between April 15th and 22nd. I hadn't been back there for years and was enchanted with what I found. The place is done with impeccable taste, in the provencal style, and is absolutely charming, clean and comfortable. Not to mention our hostess Aida, who's sense of hospitality goes over... More

Our 2 night stays in Le Clos du Rempart were wonderful. This was a part of our honeymoon trip and we wanted to try on more local feeling hence the choice of B&B rather than hotel in this old town of Avignon. It was a good experience. Aida is warm, welcoming and a great host. She prepared nice breakfast for... More
