We have really enjoyed our stay in this well situated hotel in the centre of Avignon. Very clean pleasant room with efficient staff. Didn't try breakfast as quite expensive. But got good deal on hotel as early in the season. Would choose it again.

This property sits in the midst of everything. It's so near to the major attractions, shops and eateries. Amazing. Staff are friendly, and they will try their best to assist with all your queries. The rooms are very interesting as its built on an old building. Each room literally looks different from the other. We were fortunate that our room... More

A great location, short walks to Bridge and Palace. Lot's of restaurants nearby. The hotel has plenty of old world charm. Not your boxy modern rooms. There is ample space and they are clean and comfortable. We loved it.

Excellent hotel -clean cosy and so close to everything. The lift was being serviced but the hotel was kind enough to email us in advance to let us know and offered to help us upstairs if we needed it. our adult children were also staying there at the same time and all our rooms were excellent with lovely bathrooms and... The location is fantastic, next to the hotel de ville and opera and a stone's throw from the Palais des Papes. It's about a 15 min straight, flat walk from Gare Avignon Centre. I had booked a superior room which was very spacious. The main room was quite dark, only small side lights. Also on arrival in the room, there... More

We spent one night in Avignon and choose a hotel close to the Palais des Papes. The hotel had seen better days. The elevator was being repaired. There was a bad smell in one of rooms so we had to change rooms. On top of this we were charged 18 euros (!) extra per person for breakfast without being informed... More

A charming, cosy 4 star. We found an excellent rate on the Hotel's own website & chose the suite. It comprised a decent sized (for Europe) bedroom, separate lounge area & nice bathroom. Both rooms had a TV & plentiful tea & coffee making facilities. Bathroom products where also in abundance, robes & slippers too & the welcome gift was... More

The Hotel de l'Horloge boasts 4 stars and it is very reasonably priced for a 4 star hotel. It is centrally located on the Place de l'Horloge in the old town and close to the remarkable Palais des Papes. The rooms are pleasant and comfortable with at least some having views over the Place and, in some cases, the Palais.... More

This place was perfectly located right in the center of Avignon. It was a 10 minute walk to the Palais du Papa and right next to the main square. The rooms were clean and the suite we got had lots of space. I was travelling with my mother and was able to have a roll away, which isn't always possible... More
