When I booked the Hotel I pictured a slightly quirky regional Hotel: quirky it was,but not always in a good way. As noted in other reviews, the check in was an adventure--the room where luggage was stored until the rooms were ready was full and the desk clerk had trouble finding my second piece of luggage. The people at the... More

I booked online based on reviews and was not disappointed... Upgraded to a superior room overlooking the place de l'Horloge. Room nice and clean, good nights sleep, bathroom and shower pressure great.... Friendly atmosphere and right near Palais du Pape and lots of cafés. For a solo woman I also felt I was in a safe environment and walked around... More

Our room and bathroom were more spacious than we have been used to at hotels in the heart of french cities. Although in an old building, this hotel has been completely and tastefully renovated with all modern amenities. It is in the very heart of historic Avignon only a few blocks from the Palais des Papes. Everything is in walking... More

Great location, reception staff were terrible, made you feel very unwelcome and everything was a hassle. Breakfast staff were awesome. Internet was worst in whole trip to France. This hotel was one of the most expensive we used and the worst overall for staff service.

We recently spent 4 nights in this hotel. It is centrally located, just off the main square and is literally less than a 10 minute walk from the Palais des Papes. Many shops and restaurants on the Place de L'Horloge are just around the corner. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is located only a 15 minute walk from... More

This is a charming hotel smack dab in the middle of things. The Palais des Papes and the Pont D'Avignon are within a short walk. The Place de L'Horloge is in front of the hotel and great shopping areas are a few, short minutes walk away. We had a suite in the hotel which was a decent size for a... More

We stayed here for two nights. Our room had a deck where we sat for pre dinners with 4 of our friends who also enjoyed this hotel. The staff are extra helpful and friendly. 5 rooms between us, all different. We had a very large bathroom-odd for Europe, very comfortable bed, fridge (another plus in France), and coffee making. A... More

Ideally situated just of the main square, although some street noise (especially the road sweepers/bin lorries) can be heard from early morning, depending on where room is located. reception staff went above & beyond to try and resolve a problem we had and also gave very good advise on where to visit on what days etc, and also recommended good... This hotel is in a good, central location. The train station is about 10 minutes walk through the centre of town, and the Palais des Papes is only a 5 minutes walk away. We had a poor start to our stay on a warm afternoon, when we were asked not to use a leaking air conditioner (the technician was coming... More

This was a great little hotel in an even better location. Our room was on the smaller side but was comfortable and had everything you needed. The little balcony was also a great touch and had a lovely view over Avignon. The rooms were very quiet and we didn't hear anything from outside or another room. The hotel is in... More
