Worst hotel I’ve had the misfortune to find. The hotel is grungy on a dirty, smelly, narrow back street. Smelled of mold and mildew – by the second night add rotten fruit and sewage to that. At check in I was asked if I wanted breakfast. I declined noting that I am up early. My inquiry for nearby restaurants for... More

Stayed the night here without planning. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Very central for all the shops and restaurants. The walls between rooms must be thin as we could hear snoring in the night. Bed comfortable but would have preferred a duvet to sheets and a blanket.

Decent hotel for the money. Fabulous building, excellent location. We wound up in a family room - spiral staircase and two twins up top. The double bed was hard and neither of us had a decent sleep. We didn't see any of the bugs mentioned by others. Breakfast was simple and a bit spare. It was only a 1 night... More

This hotel was clean; the staff friendly and located in the heart of old Avignon - a great base for exploring the city and the region. The street was quiet and the historic building adaption was very well done.

The location was very central, and the hostess was very helpful and nice, and the room LOOKED charming.... but yes, BUGS were certainly a problem, and our room STUNK very badly!!! I could only stay there one night and had to leave because the stench was so bad, it gave me a headache and we had to sleep with the... More

Our recent stay at the Hotel Blauvac was a disappointment. The location is good, near the square and within walking distance of the central car park, but the furnishings were shoddy and the bed was terribly uncomfortable. One of the best guide books lists this hotel as "luxury". Do not be deceived - look elsewhere.

We stayed at this hotel for five days. It was booked for us through a tour company and I had not read these reviews before we left. It is a charming-looking hotel with modern bathrooms and high ceilings near the city center. Within a day of staying at the hotel, I started to notice bites, but first thought it was... More

We were very happy here. We had a 3-person room (#9) which had a 20-foot high ceiling and two walls of exposed stone. The third person gets a single bed in the loft above the entry hall and bath (but with a 20' ceiling, even the loft had a 10' ceiling). The location is great. We were there on a... More

We stayed as a family and although it was quite lovely as a place my husbands bed had bed bugs ( he was covered in tracks; over 40 bites and managed to kill one). One member of the staff was delightful and very helpful with storing our huge amounts of luggage. The breakfast was pretty poor quality and very expensive... More
