Previous reviewers have complained about the wi-fi but they seem to have sorted it and now have it on all three floors. We had no problems with it. OK the rooms are a bit small and could be brighter but our bed was very comfortable and there was no traffic noise in our room at the front. The staff were... More

The decor in the room is depressing and it needs a complete refresh. The furniture is the cheapest you could buy. We booked the hotel for the parking but I felt the room was on the costly side given it reminded me of hostels I stayed in years ago which were a fraction of the price. Whilst it is clean,... More

This hotel is situated within the old town and positioned off the main thoroughfare but within a 15 minute walk of all of the old city sights, museums and boat trips. The rooms are a bit dated but are clean and quite big for traditional French hotels. We stayed on the first floor and had access to the rear terrace... More

Traveled with my husband and in-laws to Avignon and stayed here. What a sweet little hotel in the inner-city. Clean, bright, staffed with friendly and knowledgeable staff and close to everything. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is only rated as a two star, and thats probably because the rooms are tiny and they don't have space to offer in the room things like a kettle/coffee facilities etc. But that aside, it had a phenomenal shower, and a nicely appointed guest lounge. It has secure car parking which was essential, as we are driving around France.... More

Located inside the walls of Avignon, this hotel has a great location for exploring Avignon by foot. We walked all over the old part of town, and also walked to several attractions across the river to the west of Avignon without needing to use our car. The hotel has 8-10 parking spaces located off the alley behind it, plus a... More

The staff at this hotel is extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. Without them this would be an average hotel at a great location with the benefit of free parking within the city walls. The old fashioned interior is no doubt a nightmare to clean. It is a lot cleaner than most hotels, but people with dust mite allergy may have... More

Very nicely located hotel, within the walls of the Old City, and free off-street secure parking. Typical of English hotels, the rooms are very small and closely packed, but well-furnished. A short stroll to the main commercial street of old Avignon and to the Palace of the Popes, etc. There is even a decent Irish bar at the corner! But... More

This was in a great location - handy for everything. It was nicely run and the facilities were quite good. Breakfast was nice and plentiful plus staff helpful. We had a little balconey which we loved. The room was a little "tired" and so too the bathroom but these are very minor quibbles. We nearly got stuck (re connecting train)... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2014

We stayed for three nights in October. The hotel's location is very good, 5 minutes walk to the main street and 10 minutes to the town center. The room was small but comfortable. Shower was also small, but the water was very hot and the pressure was very good. The staff was very helpful with recommending restaurants and sights to... More
