This hotel is superb and oh so classy, nothing is too much trouble for the friendly helpful staff. We had stayed in a really basic hotel in Marseilles the previous night so arriving at Hotel d'Europe was a real treat. The rooms are beautifully appointed and everything we needed was there. The close proximity to all the sights made it... More

This hotel is a bit pricey, but if you can afford it it is an absolute pleasure to stay. The location is excellent, just inside the city walls and a pleasant 5 minute walk to the main attractions. Just the right distance to avoid the noise and yet be nearby. The taxi ride from the station is about 10 minutes... More

This is such a beautiful hotel. The staff are friendly, helpful and simply a pleasure to talk with. The hotel itself is in a great location, stunning in appearance and really just a pleasure to stay in. I find it almost impossible to fault this hotel.

The Hotel is just inside the wall that surrounds the city. The cab ride from the rail station cost about 12 euro and was able to pull up to the hotel to unload. The courtyard is inside a wall around the hotel which makes the hotel very quite from street noise and and the courtyard provides a pleasant place to... More

This is a deliciously delightful hotel... and I am so very pleased these type of Belle Epoque type hotels still exists... It was a palace... so it is grand... and I read somewhere it is one of the oldest hotels in Europe... so they know how to treat their guests... Now a firm favorite and I will always stay here... I loved everything about this hotel - our room and bathroom was beautiful. Although it was located on the street side, noise was negligible and did not detract from our comfort and peace. The dining room is lovely - wide variety of delicious breakfast fare, and great service. The location was ideal. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Add to... More

Wonderful character hotel with very friendly staff. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite because of a leak in the room above, which we were unaware of. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The hotel is very old with a lot of history and this is reflected in the rooms decor and the lovely art and antiques.

We were disappointed with our "superior" room, but this is a very old building and we should probably make allowances. The large bathroom was fine, but the room itself had a depressing air about it. We looked at a couple of others which were undoubtedly better, but one was vastly more expensive and the other overlooked the street and some... More

My husband and I stayed in a Classic Double room overnight at this hotel. The hotel has a lovely courtyard entrance and an inviting bar area. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The proximity to the Palais des Papes and the Pont St Benezet is a five minute walk and it is lovely to wander the winding pretty streets... More

This was our second stay here so we knew what to expect and weren’t disappointed. Our room was spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The courtyard area is very pretty to have meals or drinks although we chose to eat elsewhere. Would recommend and return. The hotel is situated at the town walls near the... More
