Avignon is a small city best visited by walking around, there is very little parking available inside the walled boundaries of this charming town/city that was once home to the popes. Le petite is run by Anne-Lise, a lovely host who lives there quietly along with her family. Our rooms were large by any hotel standards in France and the... More

We stayed at Le Petite Saunerie in the bourgeousie room in May 2013. We absolutely loved our stay. Here are 5 reasons why you should stay here 1) The place is gorgeous! It used to be an old church and the owner spent countless time, money and passion in remodeling it. It feels like you’re staying on the set of... More

We stayed 2 nights (May 11 & 12) with Anne-Lise and Vincent. What a pleasant surprise. This is not your typical B & B. It occupies the first floor above the ground floor of an old & large multi-level home in the old part of the city, within walking distance of everything. One could not ask for a fresher or... More

When we travel we enjoy staying in B & Bs and when we visited Avignon in April we stayed in La Petite Saunerie. We stayed in the “la contemporaine” room. What a lovely and comfortable room for our 3 night stay. Anne-Lise was a delightful and wonderful host and her son Paul is darling. We were treated to homemade yogurt,... More

We stayed for 2 nights in Avignon in the 'bourgeoise' room. The room is massive - big 4 post bed, table and chairs etc. The bathroom is also modern and large. The location is great - far enough away from the main square that you don't feel like you are in a tourist hot spot, but only a street or... More

I stayed 3 nights with my mom in Chambre “la bourgeoise” and “La romantique" Anne-Lise & Vincent & baby Paul were sooo kind and warm and the location was perfect. (All the main spot was within 10-15 minutes by walk.) Rooms of typical provence style decoration were beautiful and clean. Breakfast with homemade yogurt, jams and squeezed juice was delicious.... My girlfriend and I stayed in the Contemporary Room for two nights during a recent trip to Avignon. It's centrally located, but a little away from the main square which is really nice. We arrived early and nobody was there, but when we came back at the check-in time Anne-Lise greeted us. She is super nice and spoke English pretty... More

This place is a gem in Avignon! My husband and I stayed 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. A tip - the street the B&B is on is tiny - so don't bring a big car. We parked in the free car park about 10 minutes walk away after dropping our luggage. Anne-Lise is warm and welcoming and armed... More

We stayed 5 nights at this great B&B. Location is right in the center of Avignon. Everyday we drive to the little town nearby, have dinner back Avignon, walk on the street in the town, very easy and convenient. The room is renovated and beautifully finished with all morden conveniences. We looked forward to breakfast everyday with Anne-lise's homemade yogurt&... More
