Pros: Central location, easy to walk around town. Friendly, helpful staff. Larger room than most European hotels. Great public rooms for TV watching and reading. Bathroom was large. Room and bath were kept clean. Con: A very old hotel that at times had a "musty" smell. Breakfast was not included, although it was offered daily. We ate the breakfast buffet... More

We stayed at the Bristol Hotel one night and chose it based on its location. It is located just inside the historic walled city, and is a short walk from the Central Train station and main sights, which is important to us. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. It has a small TV, mini bar,... More

We spent two nights here on a car trip through Provence - inside the historic walled city, The Bristol does not present an inviting exterior - however once you open the door and notice the entrance lobby hall and steps to reception you are hooked. On top of that there are so many comfortable lounge areas in which to relax... More

Loved this hotel. I chose it because of its proximity to the train station. Didn't want to lug the bags too far. Someone mentioned its on a busy street. Sure. But the rooms are quiet. We looked out over another hotel courtyard and the other window looked out at roofs. Third floor is nice. Clean. Comfortable beds. We got the... More

This hôtel is despite its situation on a main busy street, very quiet and extremely helpfull for visitons. They will immediatly take care of your car so you don't have to drive anymore in those very busy norrowed streets. Clean rooms , good breakfast and very close to everything Lots of restaurants all around and walkiing distance to the Palais .

Just checked out of one of the best located hotels in Avignon. In the heart of the city; easy to find. Nice room, spacious bathroom. Very very friendly staff. Big plus is also their private parking. Price - quality cannot be beaten!

The hotel is in a good location within the old city walls, so it was easy to walk to the centre. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The reception and lobby were classic and gave the air of a previously grand hotel that is slightly run down, but in that charming shabby-chic way that only the French seem capable... More

Initial impressions were rather poor:The air conditioning was not working in the room on a hot day and neither was the phone..When all of this had been sorted there was a problem with the shower head that needed the maintenance man back. Rather surpringly for nowadays, the hotel does not encourage an ecological towel reusage policy. It should. Beds have incontinence sheets,which... More

my partner and I stayed here for two nights and found the room to be very clean and well appointed although quite small. The windows opened onto the street so we enjoyed a lovey view and as it was double glazed and we were on the second floor there was very little noise. It was walking distance from the train... More

Beautiful and modern hotel. The staff members were very nice. Large rooms, and bathroom. Although there was no wall or partition between the shower and the toilet seat. So the floor would be soaked after. We could also only get wi-fi in the lobby, not in the rooms. Otherwise, it was quiet and restful stay. Walking distance to all the... More
