The hotel is right next to the train and bus stations. The rooms are quite small but conviniently furnished. Rooms were clean, location is an easy walk to dowtown. Although we were on the first floor road noise was not an issue, sound insolation seems very good.

Hotel is comfortable and located on the outskirts of the walled city. Walking into the main part of towns easy giving you heaps of options for dinner and exploration without the need for taxis or public transport. Carpark is adjacent which made it helpful for us as we were driving. Hotel is comfortable and the staff are friendly, room is... More

Really handy hotel beside the station and city walls. Modern interior accessed via a lift. Compact rooms were very clean and comfortable and breakfast was plentiful with good self-service coffee, a rarity in most hotels. However the rate for the second night was charged at a different rate to the first and this should be made clearer to customers because... More

One of the best locations in Avignon for the price. Just by the side of the central station, and in front of the entrance for the old town center. The breakfast was OK (Ibis standard). Get a map as soon as you get into the hotel. It will help you to find the locations you cannot miss in town.

unfortunately, it looks like all rooms in this hotel are connected. So far, so good. But we were so unlucky that the other guests in the adjoining room smoked, meaning that our room was filled with cigarette smell which stank terribly. Reception told us to change the room but as it was late in the evening and we were tired... More

This hotel is very close to the central train station in Avignon. Rail passengers can reach the hotel via a short outside walk that does not require crossing any city streets. Walking to hotel, even pulling luggage during the rain, is not a problem. Hotel amenities are the standard ones for Ibis: clean and air conditioned room, elevator, TV, shower,... More

We only had one night in Avignon during our 20 day France trip and planned to visit for one afternoon and the following morning. The Ibis Budget is close to the walled city and we booked our night there. Parking was easy and the walk to the Palace was only about 30 minutes on level ground. The hotel staff was... More

Located just 100 yards from the central station in Avignon, and a 10 minute bus ride from the TGV station, this hotel is an excellent option for a stay in the town. The start of the main street is just across the ring road and the main square less than 10 minutes walk. All in all, a great location for... More

After a delightful week in Paris at the fantastic Mama Shelter in the 20th, we took the TGV to Avignon. My friend had booked PopHostel for us and the moment the taxi pulled up to the entrance I knew it was a mistake (he thought it was fine; I thought he must need his head examined). We checked in nevertheless,... More

My hubby and I visited Provence for a week in August and stay in this hotel for four nights. The greatest advantages of the hotel are its location and price. Located just next to the station, we go to nearby ancient villages by train everyday. And the price is great when compared with other hotels in the area. So, it... More
