Yes! it's possible. Just for 75$ you can have a ground floor convenient room with a garden entrance. When you come to Avignon after season the garden is yours and just a quarter of an hour the the heart of the ancient city. But the first 5 minutes you have to pass through ugly, dearth and not quite safe district.... More

Where do I start--this hotel is barely a 2 star, it is very run down especially the guests rooms & courtyard. There is no air conditioning & there is either a fan or ceiling fan but these do not work very well so rooms are hot esp. in summer, fall. We checked into a room on the courtyard which was too... We had a double room on the third floor which had quite a bit of space. The room was hot but the room had a fan that you could turn on. This meant however, one of us couldn't charge our phone as there weren't many power points. The room was outside so we entered from an outdoor balcony which meant... More

We stayed one night in the family room. The hotel appears a little tired from the outside but our room was clean and perfectly fine. The room is on two levels with a spiral staircase leading to the twin beds above. This was a great novelty for the children. It was hot at night but the two fans helped. We... More

Slightly off service and tired rooms made this a slightly disappointing stay. Plus breakfast - at €9.50 a pop - was a complete rip-off: very poor selection and not great quality in terms of what was there. The pastries in particular were awful, cheap and stale, which was a shame given it was served in an otherwise charming garden.

Arrived by train from Avignon about 15 minutes walk to hotel inside the wall close to restaurants and a laundramat 100m away On an Intrepid tour with a group the hotel is quite old but the staff are so very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean , the bathroom was probably the smallest bathroom I have ever seen but... More

We had a stopover in Avignon and chose the Magnan. From the outside it doesn't look like much but it is a sweet place. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Management was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was simple but good. The location is just inside the walls of the city. A great location from which to venture out... More

We stayed at Le Magnan for one night, en route to Marseille by rail. The hotel is within walking distance of Avignon Central station and the stop for the Navette shuttle bus which takes you to the TGV station on the edge of town. It is also located within the walls of the historic centre, so once checked in, you... More

We stayed for two nights in June, 2013. The family room was very spacious with a spiral staircase up to a loft with a single and double bed--the kids loved staying up there in their own space. The beds were very comfortable in both areas. The people at the front desk were friendly (best to speak french, though) and the... More

Easy to find from the motorway hotel was just inside the historic city walls. Street parking only nearby which was payment between 9am and 5pm but free overnight. Within walking distance of the historic centre. Very friendly reception staff open 24 hours and free Wi-Fi. Room had recently been refurbished and was clean with a comfortable bed, good selection of... More
