We stayed here for three nights and had a great experience. Valerie's breakfasts under the pergola were delicious and plentiful. The setting is beautiful and the property is well maintained, with a well appointed and scenic pool area. Valerie and her husband, Laurent, are excellent hosts. The only downside, if there is one, is that it's a little tricky to... More

We had an excellent stay in the Iris room for 5 nights. The high rating on Tripadvisor is well deserved. The reviews of the great breakfast drew us in to here, and we were not disappointed! Homemade jams - an ever changing variety it seems - home made yummy Greek style yoghurt, pastries, bread, fruit, coffee all wonderful, served under... More

We had a great five nights with Valerie & Laurent, in their lovely B&B. The room was beautiful, overlooking the pool, which was a must after a hot day. Breakfast as everyone has stated was excellent, under the pergola. I left something in the room, and they were more than helpful, in returning it to me. If you are coming... More

We (my husband and I as well as our mothers) stayed in the Poppie room for 5 nights. Beautifully decorated in true french style with a calm atmosphere. The room was clean, with a view out on the swimming pool and there is parking available for a rental auto. Breakfast is devine - fresh produce with home made jam and... More

Have just enjoyed 7 nights at the Mas de L'ile. Valerie is a perfect host who always finds time to chat with her guests and provide suggestions for places to visit and eat. The rooms, grounds and swimming pools are beautiful as are the home made breakfasts which are served underneath a pergola at the front of the house. Would... More

Our family stayed 5 nights at this little gem in June this year. The location is peaceful, calm and quiet and yet just a 5 min. drive from the historical centre (and Avignon is a great base to discover Provence). Valerie is an excellent host. She's gracious, warm and very friendly. The room is clean (which is very important for... More

Valerie Pillot has a wonderful home and B&B on the island in the Rhone adjacent to Avignon. Even though high season had not totally arrived, it was nice to be out of the center of Avignon, especially as we spent time going to Nimes. Nimes and Arles are easily reached from here. Lovely room and bathroom. Terrific breakfast. Weather was... More

Valerie was the perfect hostess and creator of amazing breakfasts. She made you feel so welcome. The rooms were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I would have liked a little fridge in the room as the outside fridge at the pool was very full. The pool area was fantastic. I would re visit this beautiful place anytime! It was a... More
