Jim and Ike are superb innkeepers. The mas is filled with their books and collections; it is their home, as well as a B and B. Our room was spacious and comfortable; it looked down on a fruit-laden persimmon tree. We enjoyed the old-fashioned deep tub--great for soaking after all the sightseeing. The library is impressive; I read Van Gogh's... More

This 200+ year old farmhouse converted into a small B & B is a simply wonderful place to stay while you explore Provence. The owners, Jim and Ike, could not have been more charming, pleasant and helpful. Jim is a Van Gogh-phile who knows a phenomenal amount about the artist and is willing to share it all. He even took... More

Mas Du Petit Grava is my favorite place I have stayed in all my travels! The rooms are lovely the location is central to many sights and the hosts are wonderful. The food was fresh out of their garden and Jim and Ike were wonderful hosts.

This was our second visit to Mas du Petit Grava and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Jim and Ike are the perfect hosts. They are warm, gracious, and will do anything to help their guests. We looked forward to their delicious, candlelit breakfasts, with soft classical music in the background, and the lively conversations among the... More

It’s one of our favorite memories of our two week trip through France in June....staying unexpectedly at Mas du Petit Grava! It has taken me awhile to write a comment but because of the kind, warm hospitality of Jim and Ike and the ideal setting I was committed to writing a review. It really was a perfect option after touring... More

The "Mas" is a charming 18th century farmhouse in a quiet, pastoral setting within easy driving distance of many popular Provencal towns and villages. We received a warm welcome from Jim and Ike, both of whom went out of their way to make sure our three night stay was exceptional. Ike's gourmet breakfasts, served family style on a long, candlelit... More

On the recommendations of Rick Steves, we stayed in this wonderful B&B for four nights in mid-September. Everything from our arrival along the tree lined road to our departure was just perfect. Ike greeted upon our evening arrival and welcomed us like old friends. We were shown to our lovely and ever-so-comfortable room and then given directions into town to... More

We sought out this B&B after a Rick Steve's recommendation "Provence and the French Rivera" (a book I highly recommend) and we were smitten as soon as we pulled up to the gate. The directions in the book worked just fine for us and we found it straight away. Unfortunately, because of the nature of our travel, we couldn't make... More

The setting of the house is fantastic. It is an old farm house in the country. Jim's directions were perfect, which was especially good since the navigation system in our car did not pick it up, or remember it once we were there. The rooms are very large as are the bathrooms. Each one is uniquely decorated as is the... More

We stayed for 5 nights in the blue room and had a great time, enjoying scrumptious outdoor breakfasts with all the guests and the hosts every day at 9:00. The Mas is a country house in an idyllic rural setting. Location is perfect for visiting Arles and all the other Provence highlights. Hosts Jim and Ike went out of their... More
