A gem of a hotel in a really good location inside the city walls -just. A traditional, family run and friendly hotel at a very reasonable price. A short walk to all the main tourist sites, the station, restaurants and shops. Parking is plentiful and free on the other side of the city wall, which is a bonus in this... More

Excellent hotel situated just inside the city walls, on the frontage to the Rhone.Eric and his wife are so friendly and helpful with regard to more than just the hotel. We had roon 19 on second floor which faced over the Rhone. Excellent size, good en-suite. Always kept very clean . Really nice to come back to and always very... More

For the river location and price and cleanliness and freindliness and helpfulness, this hotel was excellent. This was a favorite hotel. The room was good sized, the bedding was comfortable, the bathroom was the largest and cleanest and with the most fantastic river picture-window view with privacy screens to pull down. We paid a bit extra for the front river... More

The hotel itself is fine, rooms very "cozy". We had a room that faced the Rhone, which was nice. We were close to the train station and most historical and museum sights. There is no lift. We rented bikes from the hotel, which was very reasonable, 1 euro an hour. But we asked if we could ride to the Camargue... More

Looking at the outside photo of the hotel (I was on booking.com) I skipped over it as I was looking for 'charm'. A friend said 'no, check it out' so I went to Tripadvisor for the reviews. It may look uninteresting from the outside but the room we booked, the location and the hospitality were terrific. Everywhere walkable and, at... More

I would give it 5 stars if it had an elevator (or at least a dumb waiter that would carry luggage). Hosts were very friendly and spoke very good English. Parking was fairly easy and it is in a quiet location. I thought breakfast was very good value for 7 Euros.

Just excellent service. This is a very nice hotel and wonderful location, overlooking the river. We found the hosts Eric and his wife Valerie were very helpful, attentive and welcoming. Eric even helped us with parking when we first arrived. He and his wife offered a lovely breakfast, and provided a lot of great suggestions to help make our time... More

We stayed here wile visiting the Carmargue. The room was very satisfactory - clean and comfortable, even if small. The staff was helpful with restaurant recommendations and the breakfast was very good - cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee, bread, croissants, fruit. The hotel is right across the street from the water, and you are within easy walking distance to the Roman... More

We used Le Regence (and Arles) as a home base for 3 nights during our trip to Provence in August and couldn't have been happier! The location of the hotel was perfect- close enough to walk everywhere (Arles is not a very large town), yet just far enough away from the touristy hustle and bustle so that it was very... More

Someone else said this hotel has it all and they were right. The Regence is a well- run hotel by Eric and his wife. It is clean and well maintained. Our room was small but definitely adequate, The air conditioning and wifi worked very well, and the room was quiet even though it faced the street. Our room looked out... More
