Arrived here in severe thunderstorm, got very wet just getting our bags up the exterior stairs and into our room. The room was small, bathroom the tiniest I've ever seen. The room smelled of stale tobacco, but otherwise was generally clean. It was very hot and muggy, but we couldn't open the window as other guests walked by and looked... More

This hotel is really for one night stay only, but I can't say it is terrible. It is clean, but way too dark , bathroom is inbuilt and so small... If you get the room in the basement, be ready for high humidity during night. Hotel is located near highway, so if you are without car and you want to... More

For near 50 euros per night, you would expect something better than a caravan like bathroom... especially that the hotel is not at all central! We stayed in the same chain in Bourges but paid half the nightly rate asked in Arles and the facilities were a lot lot cleaner! The receptionists were friendly, breakfast good value for money just... We (three 19y/o travelers) stayed here for 2 nights and found it to be clean and convenient. It was a fair walk (2km) from the train station so ensure you have something better than a google map. The room we had (no.16) was clean but rather cosy for three of us and our large rucksacks. The tiny wetroom was very... More

As part of our last days in the South of France, we stayed at the Premiere Classe in Arles for 2 nights. "OMG" was out first reaction!!!! The room was dull, sad, mould growing up the walls, broken window handles, infestation of ants and mosquitos, ...... We checked in at 12 prior to the reception closing until 5pm. After closing... This place is no where near the center of Arles. It's in the outskirts of the city among large-scale outlets and discount grocery stores. The neighborhood, while peaceful and uneventful, felt like outside of any American city (where large-scale outlets and discount grocery stores are), not a French town with impressive Roman monuments. We arrived in Arles by train and... More

This was the closest thing to being in a prison cell which I have ever experienced. I can only agree with what everyone else said- an experience (experiment!) NEVER to be repeated. Avoid at all costs!!!!

The rooms were dirty, there were thousands of ants and spiders everywhere. The "bathroom" was not bigger than a cupboard, including the toilet. After the room was "cleaned" I had the feeling that someone had searched valuable things in my luggage (fortunately I took everything with me). The so-called window was small and could not be opened. In the night... More

Arles is a small city of the region of the Camargue. It's a nice region, but our experience in hotel Premiere Classe was a horror. The first that they should make is to change the name of the hotel. This is not a hotel of Premiere Classe!!! In my last journeys to France I had used hotels of tourism class... More
