We found the hotel down a one way street going the other way ! (but allowed for hotel guests!) The hotel was charming, behind a huge heavy wooden door which opens onto a lovely peaceful garden with a small oblong pool. The greeting was wonderful from the lovely Michael . We had booked a room with a terrace, unfortunately what... More

What a pleasure staying in this hotel, which I also chose for a break from my work in developing countries, turned out to be. Gorgeous room (I had no problems with Wi-Fi). The docking station and television in the room is lovely and also adds to the ambience. (I am going to try to buy the same equipment next time... More

The former Mayor of Arles’ house is tucked away on a barely accessible side street and offers an amazingly secluded and special accommodation experience in Arles. Having received the obligatory ‘day before’ email asking about arrival time and parking – yours for the spicy sum of 26 Euro per day – we elected to just drive there, check in, and... More

You'd never know what was behind the doors on this tiny little street but once inside you are instantly calmed from your journey. The courtyard area features a beautiful pool reminiscent of a french fountain. Very fun to see people and their children in it together. Each room is different and special—most comfortable. Breakfast is also available and well done... More

If you went to the Particulier's website, you would be immediately enchanted by pictures of the property, its gardens and public areas, and its rooms, enough so that you would be very tempted to stay there on a visit to Arles. That was my decision for the four days I spent in Arles recently. I was not disappointed. Like any... More

The Hotel Particulier is a very charming hotel. A knock on the entrance brings the staff to welcome you and valet your car. The service is OUTSTANDING. Michael and his staff know how to provide outstanding service. The "spa" is a small pool and massage room. The rooms are all different and unique. They are clean. Breakfast is a bit... More

We have a stellar agent, but he was only able to get us a room with very little personality as not much was available in Arles. Room was very nice on top floor, but no art. Rm 23. Nice courtyard view. Great tub. Friendly staff who work hard to please eg, bartender and front office staff. Pricey breakfast.

The truth is, we couldn't stay here. We wanted to, but my wife was sick with pneumonia and we had to delay our trip to France. But since I paid for two nights, I figured I write a review. Read on, I'm not going to bash them.... The good news: ALL of our hotels in France, the trains, and Airlines... More

While working in a 3rd world country, I like to splurge on a few nights in a lovely hotel when I get a break. On my recent break, this was my choice, and i was very happy there for a few nights. The location is very convenient to local sites, shopping, post office, and transportation. I found it very easy... More

My ultimate wish would be that every designer and, or owner of a small boutique hotel would spend one night in each of their rooms. Hotel Particulier does not have an elevator. No books or magazines in the room (23). One " logo"ed single sheet of paper ( was not replenish on the 2nd day). No paintaings on the walls,... More
