We have a stellar agent, but he was only able to get us a room with very little personality as not much was available in Arles. Room was very nice on top floor, but no art. Rm 23. Nice courtyard view. Great tub. Friendly staff who work hard to please eg, bartender and front office staff. Pricey breakfast.

The truth is, we couldn't stay here. We wanted to, but my wife was sick with pneumonia and we had to delay our trip to France. But since I paid for two nights, I figured I write a review. Read on, I'm not going to bash them.... The good news: ALL of our hotels in France, the trains, and Airlines... More

While working in a 3rd world country, I like to splurge on a few nights in a lovely hotel when I get a break. On my recent break, this was my choice, and i was very happy there for a few nights. The location is very convenient to local sites, shopping, post office, and transportation. I found it very easy... More

My ultimate wish would be that every designer and, or owner of a small boutique hotel would spend one night in each of their rooms. Hotel Particulier does not have an elevator. No books or magazines in the room (23). One " logo"ed single sheet of paper ( was not replenish on the 2nd day). No paintaings on the walls,... More

We stayed here for four nights with our two daughters and absolutely loved this hotel. You are right in the centre of the city and yet you wouldn't know it once you step through the doorway into the courtyard. Here it is pure peace and tranquility with the scent of orange blossom, the call of the birds and gentle noise... More

The hotel particulier is a very different one, with a nice patio, with excellent service, the room is very nice and clean. Impeccable service! A nice little bar, a good spa and pool. The breakfast is expensive for what they give you.

This place is a great place to spend a few days, especialy during the summer. We stated only one night and regret it (despite the price). They serve food, and it is overpriced but delicious. The pool area is refreshing and they are not shy to serve wine or champagne while you enjoy it. They helped with every aspect of... More

Hidden away on a back street off of Arles' old town, and in walking distance of both the renowned Roman-era Forum and Amphitheater AND the area's terrific shopping and dining, Hotel Particulier is a quiet, peaceful retreat after a day's exploring. The friendliness of the staff and owner was genuine and helpful in the extreme, and it was one of... More

We stayed there for 3 nights and had a wonderful time, mainly due to the super kind and helpful staff. The hotel has large, comfortable rooms, decorated with excellent taste. Breakfast could have more choices, though. We certainly recommend!

The setting of this hotel was fabulous. It is a private compound. Inside is an idyllic serene green oasis. There are tables and chairs in a courtyard and lounge chairs by the heated pool. The hotel is located in central Arles, close to main walking street that has some unique shops and boutiques and delicious pastry places. Our room was... More
