We found Hotel Constantin on the internet, and weren't expecting much. What a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by a very cheerful and helpful young lady who made our check-in easy, in spite of the language barrier. The property is historic and beautiful, and conveniently located to all of Arles. Our family had two rooms and they were both nice.... More

Hotel Constantin is a slightly off-center 2-star hotel with clean, quiet rooms, run by proactively helpful people. Its management understands what budget-conscious travelers want from value lodgings, and is adept at providing services that do not cost them much yet add to customer satisfaction. These little services add up to differentiate this hotel from the rank-and-file competition. Constantin is located... More

We spent just one night in Arles but were pleased that we chose the Hotel Constantin. Located at the other end of town from most of the historic attractions, the hotel is well situated as most of Arles can be comfortably covered by foot. The welcome from Patrick was very warm - we were offered cold drinks and were then... More

We primarily chose this hotel as we wanted somewhere with free parking nearby. Were not disappointed as there is a free car park 50m away at the end of the road. Near motorway so easy to get to once you know where it is. I printed detailed Google map and found with little problem. Less than 10 minute walk into... More

We stayed here with a group of university students. It was charming at first sight, though in a sketchy part of town. Across the way, the street is lined with legions of men just sitting and commenting on passers by. Ladies beware. It is a little ways from the center of town, but easily walkable. You need a code to... More

How often do you arrive at a hotel and find the owner at the entrance helping you park? How often do you enter a hotel and find the owner's spouse offering drinks and spreading out a map of the city showing location of sites to visit? This charming hotel with nearby public parking is located right at the entrance to... More

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed in anywhere. You are made to feel like a friend of the family, not just a guest in the hotel. We were lent hats, guide books, maps, umbrellas (in the unlikely event you need them!) and cushions for the 1st May festival of the Camargue. If you stay here (and... More

We looked at other hotels in Arles but wanted a hotel that had parking nearby and that didn't require driving through narrow streets. The Constantin has parking around the corner in a free public lot but also had so much more. The owners were so gracious and welcoming--one night we used one of their lobby rooms to play some cards....the... More

The Hotel Constantin had a welcoming feel with friendly hosts and a very attractive Provencal decor. Their love of photography was evident in the beautiful display of professional photographs throughout the hotel and lots of photography magazines available for browsing. The location is great as there is a free shuttle bus from the train station which stops in front of... More
