On approach the hotel is towards the end of a rather unpreposessing terrace, but its ivy-shrouded entrance opens to a friendly, clean and characterful hotel. Well situated within walking distance of Arles' historic centre, the hotel is run by welcoming - but not too intrusive - staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble. The continental breakfasts are delicious and... More

A friendly welcome by Patrick and his wife to this charming, characterful and comfortable hotel which is in good location in walking distance of most of sights in Arles. Patrick's local knowledge really helped us and the good breakfast was a great start to the day. A good value for money hotel which I would happily recommend and visit again.

Host Patrick was happy to sit down with us when we first arrived and answer questions and provide helpful info. As mentioned by others, juice is offered. Map in hand, he'll help you upstairs and provide parking info. Yes, there's free parking in a lot around the corner, but a man who appears to be living in his car was... More

The hostel is very close to the River Rhone and we parked our rental car along the river. However, someone broke our car's window when we weren't there. The host of the hotel was extremely friendly and helped us about this case with local people. We did really appreciated his helps during our stay in Arles. Without his helps, we... More

On our final night in Arles, my wife and I stayed in this hotel on the edge of town. We liked this place since it was a bit closer to the center of town from where we stayed earlier (the Ibis hotel) and since we were checking out on Sat morning, the famous Saturday market was at our doorstep! It's... More

I stayed in Arles for several nights exploring Provence. It was a perfect choice I've done, and I was happy every single day I spent there. One of the biggest pros is a free huge parking just round the corner, no need to search for the place as in the evening you can easily find the place there (it's usually... More

We found Hotel Constantin on the internet, and weren't expecting much. What a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by a very cheerful and helpful young lady who made our check-in easy, in spite of the language barrier. The property is historic and beautiful, and conveniently located to all of Arles. Our family had two rooms and they were both nice.... More

Hotel Constantin is a slightly off-center 2-star hotel with clean, quiet rooms, run by proactively helpful people. Its management understands what budget-conscious travelers want from value lodgings, and is adept at providing services that do not cost them much yet add to customer satisfaction. These little services add up to differentiate this hotel from the rank-and-file competition. Constantin is located... More

We spent just one night in Arles but were pleased that we chose the Hotel Constantin. Located at the other end of town from most of the historic attractions, the hotel is well situated as most of Arles can be comfortably covered by foot. The welcome from Patrick was very warm - we were offered cold drinks and were then... More
