This hotel was recommended by Rick Steves and it was everything he said it would be: great location, wonderful staff and very good food. Ashley and Celia were exceptionally helpful and make communications easy as they both grew up in the US. The entire team did a great job making us feel welcome to their hotel.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast OK. The hotel is very old, the room small (no. 20) but generally more than acceptable, particularly its location. This is not a hotel/place we would recommend for a long stay.

The previous comments pretty much outline it all. Standout for us was the use of the spa, most hotels have spas but not like this. It was enormous and very well appointed with a steam room, hydro shower and herbal teas to drink. It's included in the cost of the room and so good when it was cold outside.

We has two nights at this hotel. It is in a superb location so everything is walkable. Rooms were comfortable. The main reason to stay is the wonderful welcome you receive, the customer services is most certainly excellent.

Excellent location and value. Close by all the sights and walking distance to restaurants. Natalie was a sweetheart who helped us with everything and all staff we encountered were just the best! Enjoy!
