Set right in the heart of the town this is a historic building, exquisitely restored with every modern amenity. The elegance of the public rooms and the spacious bedroom with antique furniture reminded us of a Parador in miniature. Parking in such a location was real boon. We were welcomed and given every help and attention. Included in the creative... More

A charming hotel in an excellent location, close to sights, restaurants and bars. Good sized, immaculate room overlooking pool. Charming terraces and pool area to relax. Only problem was extortionate price of drinks at the bar. Would have loved to have coffee / wine on terrace but it was over twice the price than that offered at cafés just 100... More

Perfect city hotel with a lot of charm. We stayed for two nights and were very happy there. First off, they have a bit of parking, so able to forget about the car; all the people at reception were charming, friendly and helpful. The building is superb, rooms individual; bed comfortable (proper coat hangers); bathroom small but perfectly adequate for... More

Don't let the lack of stars scare you! This hotel is a little treasure in the heart of Arles. I guide tours and use this as one of my preferred spots. Located between the coliseum and amphitheater, close to main avenue, restaurants and shopping. Lovely rooms and quaint patio for breakfast. Very nice staff.

I did read many of the reviews and even the negative reviews made some beneficial comments. But for us this old historic hotel had charm that made our stay a memorable one. Imagine just being 100 meters from Place du Forum with the replica of the Yellow cafe. An outdoor pool and 2 courtyards to relax with a cup of... More

we were surprise by the size of the room, was big and very spacious and you do not see that often in France. the parking even with a fee was a plus. it is close to every great attraction. we had an issue with the room and the manager took care of it right away. but I can not said... More

I am staying at this hotel as I am writing this review. The hotel is smelly, with ceilings with water stains, and hardest mattresses ever. Location of the hotel is very nice and staff is very pleasant but smell is overwhelming from the time you enter the hotel. I think it's old carpets. It could be that it's just old... More

This hotel is an architectural gem…Located not far from the Rhone River and newly built Van Gogh museum, the hotel was formerly a 16th century castle built on the foundation of a 4th century Roman Bascilica…. some of the stone work from the Bascilica are exposed and framed in various corner rooms. Hotel D'Arlatan in Arles, France offers charm and... More

Stayed for 2 nights last week in Room 1Bis. The room was enormous with a lovely high ceiling, overlooking the inner courtyard. Bed was huge and very comfy. Hotel staff were very pleasant but I can't comment on breakfast as we never had it. Overall a very pleasant stay and I would return if in Arles again.

We arrived at the hotel a few hours before the official check-in time and received a firm "no room until 3pm!" Ok, no problem, the hotel is nicely located in the main core so we left to check out the Ancient Theatre and the Amphitheatre. There was no problem wasting a few hours but when we returned at check-in time,... More
