Dingy room, with lights non-functional despite requests for new bulbs. Kept awake by noise of people above just walking around. Plumbing arty but poorly functioning - tiny shower/sink room. Despite our travel agent having booked and arranged pre-payment owner had not taken the required amount, so we had to pay again and re-claim upon our return

Great location. Parking only 3 minutes walk with bags away...but you have to be lucky. Buy a ticket from the machine! Comfortable clean rooms. They speak English and are very helpful. Nice bathrooms, WiFi. Good breakfast. What's to complain about? Some street noise, noise from floor above and odd long shared pillows.

We arrived by car after traversing the interior of the old town, which requires a PhD and a special code to get in. But once there, and the car in the garage the hotel was excellent. The room was of good proportions, very clean, the bathroom worked well (my wife said it was the best shower since leaving home) and... More

We had a very comfortable 6 night stay here! This hotel is situated right In the heart of Arles...great location. Arles is a very walkable city with lots to see and do. Brigette and Alain are very hospitable and offer many suggestions for travelers. Their breakfasts are so nice and plentiful! I have stayed elsewhere in Arles in the past... More

This is, as others have said, a lovely old hotel, beautifully situated, and in the style of classic provincial hotels--that is, small-ish rooms and no elevator, welcoming and friendly service, excellent breakfast, clean rooms, workable plumbing--all the things one expects in such a place, done exceptionally well. We were, for better or worse, in Arles at the time of the... More

The hotel is very well situated. The rooms are spacious and nicely updated however if you are a senior make sure you do not get room 12. We were initially given this room- it is a duplex with the bedroom up these steps that were as steep as a ladder with the bathroom on the bottom level. Imagine bathroom trips... More

We just finished up three nights in this hotel and loved it. There's a wonderful uniqueness to the interior, and a nice little patio out front where we sat with some wine, cheese, bread and meats. We asked the owner if that was permitted and he said yes. The hotel staff are fantastic - kind, friendly, helpful. They helped us... More

The hotel is easy to find by following the signs for it but the narrow streets are quite challenging! We were lucky and managed to park in front of the hotel and just fed the meter for a few hours which cost around 2 euro's. The hotel does have a garage which I think was 10 euro's for the night.... We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor. It has 2 double beds, a loverly bathroom with a decent shower, a fridge and one chair too many that blocked access to one side of one of the beds - not that it bothered us as there were just 2 of us. The windows that faced the street were coated... More

This is a hotel with character. The main stairs spiral through the building which must be very old but it has been tastefully updated whist retaining its charm. Our room was great - it was big, air conditioned, it had lots of cupboard and drawer space and a decent sized bathroom with a good shower. The owners were really friendly... More
