Ibis Arles is an old style Ibis hotel. It would be unfair to say that it is run down but it definitively shows some wear and tear and its design is from a past era. Having said that, it still offers a clean, quiet and comfortable (albeit small) bedroom with a comfy bed. The bath room is OK but a... More

I don't usually stay in Ibis hotels but i have to say, this particular hotel was a very nice surprise. Ibis has a budget reputation and that shows, but at this hotel it's all done so well. Basic, clean, friendly and has everything you need. Put it this way, i moved from a Holiday Inn in Nimes to this hotel... More

The Arles Ibis was excellent.Although the rooms were quite old fashioned and quite small everything was clean and acceptable. Both the breakfasts and evening meals were very good.. The restaurant was pleasant There was a wide choice of food and good value. Staff were helpful and friendly

First the positives. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was easy to find. The beds were comfy and it was clean. It is a typical Ibis so you don;t expect much in the way of space. The breakfast was simple and continental (juices, croissants, cereals, bread cheese, fruit etc). The negatives were that it was next to... More

My wife and I stayed in this hotel on our way from Bergerac to Fox Amphoux in Provence. The hotel is close to the motorway with easy access. We asked for a room at the back so as not to hear the traffic and it was nice and quiet. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful telling us that there... More

The hotel is really old and our room was worn out. It was really hot and humid and we couldn't open the window because outside there was a swampy swimming pool with a lot of mosquitoes. The location is not bad, there is a shopping center next to the hotel. The hotel is really close to the highway an may... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night, while visting Southern France and Camargue. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was really kind (we forgot something in the room when we left, and the staff kept it so that we could pass to get it when coming back north). It is located outside the city center (1.2... More

I do wish that Ibis would tell people that Arles has no taxis, except for one extremely hostile driver who refused to take me to the hotel. The hotel was too far away from any resaurant except McDonald's and since the taxis refused to come there, I was stuck until I walked a 1,5 km to a decent restaurant. Fortunately,... More

We chose this hotel for the price. It is out of the centre, and the rooms and premises were quite tired. Although we had booked a non-smoking room, there was a distinct smell of cigarettes in the corridor. When we enquired about how this could be, we were told the corridor had both smoking and non-smoking rooms. We did get... More

On a previous trip I'd stayed at the Ibis Budget (formerly Etap) hotel, which is about 100 m around the corner. I'm not convinced that the extra cost of staying at the main Ibis hotel is justified, especially knowing that the Ibis Budget hotel range is going through a major facelift (the renovated ones I've stayed in recently have been...
