We really enjoyed our stay at Gilbert's beautiful guesthouse outside Arles. The experience starts with the gorgeous tree lined drive into the property with horses for company. The house has an eclectic collection of memorablia and art. Our room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities well stocked. We took the breakfast which is a feast in itself and you... More

This guest house is a delight. The owner and proprietor, Gilbert, goes out of his way to ensure you experience Provence to the fullest. As we checked in, he carefully explained where we should go and drew maps of how to get to each place. He also warned us where not to go, which was appreciated. This is an old... More

Truly loved this unique quirky C 17th hotel; the owner made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Interior of hotel was so full of charm and wonderful memorabilia of a bygone age. Bedrooms beautifully designed although towels in ensuite a bit on small side. Loved the bird cage with it's occupants and just hope they were... More

This is one of the most amazing places we've ever stayed (& we travel a lot and are very fussy) Stunning hotel. Gorgeous grounds. Beautiful chateau with the most sumptuous beautiful decor. Lovely hosts! Big measures! Great food! Large and gorgeously designed bedroom. We loved sitting outside in the gorgeous seating, listening to the classical music that was playing. Reading... More

Located just outside of the small but bustling city of Arles, you drive down a beautiful tree lined country road until you see a small sign for the Mas. You proceed down a long driveway through a pair of large gates and enter Gibert's world. From the start, it's a very special experience and you feel like you've been invited... More

If you are searching for an excellent unique experience you choose Mas St Florent. It was over the expectations, like a paradise. The food is absolutely delicious, cooking made by the owner Gilbert. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and are having a nice personal individual touch to them. The house is surrounded by a most beautiful garden with many... More

We found the Mas Saint Florent quite by chance... one turns into long drive lined by plane trees to arrive in front of a beautiful pale stone manor house. After a warm welcome by the Owner Gilbert and his two friendly dogs, we entered into an elegantly decorated and comfortable home, filled with a cornucopia of interesting objects. It is... More

This spectacular home, full of antiques and objets d'art, was our base for our five days in the Provence region. We had a room on the ground floor, very private and sound-proof, with the most gorgeous claw-foot bath and separate shower. The main room was the size of several regular hotel rooms, and was most luxuriously and comfortably furnished -... More

a wonderful experience in Provence, far away from conventional hotels, a beautifully decorated house with great attention to details. Every room is different and the owner has spent year collecting interesting objects to decorate his house. The bedrooms are very large and the beds are so comfortable, it is a real pleasure. Our host was very gracious and always ready... More
