We had the privilege of staying for a week at la Maison Rouge with Dominique Paulu as our hostess. When we arrived at her beautiful home Dominique greeted us with open arms and a warm smile. We immediately felt as though we had just returned to the home of a dear friend.  Our bedroom, "Froggy's Room" was adorned by delightful... More

As we were among the last visitors at this wonderful place, there is no point in repeating the justified excellent reviews. We just want to thank Dominique for everything & wish her all the best in the future. Rami & Rachel More

Oh Domi! How can I thank you for the wonderful time I spent in your home and with you? I was also fortunate to be one of Domi's last guest (if I can call myself that). Domi welcomed me into her home with such grace and warmth! She picked me up from the train station and we chatted like old... More

What a wonderful stay at Maison Rouge: we were very well-looked after by our kind hostess Dominique, and feel very fortunate to be one of the last guests as Dominique will no longer be accepting guests from July 2011 onwards. We wish her all the best with her new adventures! More

We just loved the whole experience at the Maison Rouge. Thanks to Dominique and the beautiful and tranquil house & garden, we had such a wonderful and relaxing time during our 6 nights stay. I must say that this is one of the very best place & accommodation experience I have ever had! More

Other reviewers have adequately captured how you will find Maison Rouge and the hostess Dominique. Our family (2AD, 2CH) stayed for 3 nights between Christmas 2010 and New Year. Our holiday consisted of visiting the UK and France over a 4 week period and our stay here was a highlight of those 4 weeks. The home is well appointed and... More

We stayed at Maison Rouge for a couple of nights while traveling Provence with our two year old son. Dominique is a wonderful hostess, really nice and a wonderful source of information on Aix-en-Provence and the Provence. Her restaurant recommendations were amazing as were the breakfasts that she prepared for us. They are French style (of course) and included bread,... More

We stayed at Maison Rouge for four nights in September in the middle of a two week trip to France and in relating stories of the trip our time there always comes up as a highlight. As you can tell from the other reviews, Dominique is a wonderful hostess, making you feel at home and giving great recommendations for the... More

My wife and I spent a week at the Maison Rouge in late September and had a delightful experience there. We liked the tranquil setting just 10 minutes or so from Aix-en-Provence. From the house, all of Provence is reachable in day trips with a car. We and our friends had two of the three guest rooms in the house—both... More
