Three nights in a perfect Provencal residence hosted by the most delightful family, Caroline, Hubert and daughter Charlotte. Les Clos is tucked away in a peaceful garden setting, complete with generously sized swimming pool, while only ten minutes' drive from the vibrant city of Aix, home to numerous cultural pursuits. The rooms are spacious, spotless and comfortable and breakfast was... More

My husband and I just returned from our South of France getaway, and Le Clos Des Freres Gris was the absolute highlight of our vacation. Caroline and Hubert were lovely--even inviting us into their home one evening to catch the end of a world cup game (my husband is a soccer fanatic) while they prepared their family dinner. Caroline would... More

We could not have enjoyed a stay in Aix any more than at Les Clos Des Freres Gris! Grounds are gorgeous. Ironed sheets anyone? Yes they iron the sheets. The room is sparkling clean along with the rest of the house and grounds. The pool is lovely to come home to at the end of a busy day sightseeing. Caroline... More

We could not have been looked after better nor in a more magical place. Caroline and family were very well organised, charming and so helpful in many ways. Our room, La Lavande, was beautiful, breakfast always a treat and our hosts very warm and welcoming. Seven of us were staying to attend a wedding nearby, for two/three nights. We cannot... More

We spent two special nights with Caroline and her lovely family at their impeccable bnb! Our room was the smallest, however it was quite large for being the smallest still!! Beautiful clean room, huge bed, great shower- great soaps (L'Occitane!) and lots of beautiful rustic touches including lavender in our room - just amazing. The grounds are great. This is... More

We stayed at this property a year ago. We chose this place based all the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor and were astounded at those reviews after we arrived. Le Clos is in a lovely area and the facility is in good condition for a B&B. Our room, however, was slightly untidy. There were numerous cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and... More

This is a stunningly beautiful Provencal property with comfortable bedrooms, a large and warmly decorated great room for guests' use, and fabulous terraces with perfect gardens. However, the host Caroline's attitude was somewhat surprising, over the course of the few days we stayed there. At times, she could be very warm and kind, and seem quite genuine. However, a few... My husband and I stayed with Hubert and Caroline at their beautiful B & B for a week. We could not have had a more relaxing or friendly experience. They were so helpful in orienting us to the area, understanding our needs, and even letting me use their washer when we ran out of clean clothes. The breakfasts were so... More

We just stayed at Le Clos for 11 days this May which marked our third stay in the past 5 years. We kept coming back because of the incredible hospitality of Caroline and her husband Hubert as well as the amazing setting and feel of this B&B. It felt like coming home to family, where we were taken care of... More

This was our third time staying at le clos de frere Gris. We stayed for eleven days to enjoy the charming setting and thoroughly explored Provence. The hospitality offered by Caroline and Hubert was beyond compare. They graciously sent us each morning well nourished, with helpful suggestions for the days activities, then welcomed us home to a glass of wine!... More
