I don't know what original thought I can add to the other reviews of Pavillon de la Torse. The location is terrific; the accommodations are outstanding; and the hospitality is simply the best! A traveler would be foolish to stay anywhere else in Provence! My wife and I cannot wait to return and spend more time with Francois and Marie... more

If your goal is to capture the essentials of Provence: the colors as Cezanne saw them; the fragrances of early summer; the peaceful sounds of the country; AND you want to do it in a lovely setting of period antiques; a 15 minute walk to the center of town; and a delicious breakfast in the morning and vintage wines in... more

We have spent 3 nights in room Pomerol of Pavillon de la Torse and we really loved it. We felt very welcome in this beautiful house within the stunning surroundings. The room is very spacious and elegantly decorated, and has an excellent large bathroom with shower over and separate toilet. This was the first stop of our summer holiday and... more

We have just spent last week at Pavillon de la Torse and what a wonderful place it is! From the moment we arrived (a little early) and were directed to the Pergola in the garden with a carafe of wine, to the moment we left, we loved this place. The house is fantastic; the gardens are beautiful and the pool... more

Marie & Francoise are the most welcoming and nurturing hosts. Instantly upon arrival we felt like we were visiting loving family. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and beautifully calming. Pavillon de la Torse is perfectly located and very close to the center of Aix. My wife and I had such a lovely time and were sad to leave. We will... more

Stay here, stay here, stay here!!! Trust me -- as a very seasoned traveler, this is the best. This utterly beautiful house is situated on stunning grounds and has a lovely, tree-lined drive from the entrance gates to the home. The Pavillon de la Torse is such a great surprise located within Aix, and a VERY short, safe and pleasant... more

Staying at this B&B was one of the highlights of our 7 wk trip to Europe. Our hosts were warm and friendly making us feel welcome and at home in this gorgeous renovated villa. The gardens were beautiful and we could hear a running creek outside our window which was so lovely and comforting. Of course the evening drinks and... more

We spent the final days of our three-week European honeymoon at Pavilion de la Torse, and we couldn't have made a better decision. Marie and Francois are the perfect hosts and keep a lovely home for their guests. After two-and-a-half weeks roaming France, Portugal and Spain, the B&B -- with its lovely, peaceful grounds and 25-meter pool -- were the... more

Gracious hosts, beautiful grounds, lovely rooms, and spacious baths made our stay in Aix special and memorable. As non French speakers, we chose this B and B for the opportunity to talk with the English speaking hosts and their other guests about how best to see this area. It exceeded all expectations. Marie and Francoise knew the area thoroughly and... more
