We just spent a week at Pavillon de la Torse. It was everything that other reviewers have said it was. The hosts, Francois and Mary, in particular, were so kind and made us feel at home in their beautiful 18th century bastide. The house has been renovated to retain its historic character but has many modern creature comforts, including beautiful... More

We stayed at Pavillon de la Torse for 5 days in October 2013. We enjoyed our time there enormously and in fact it was the highlight of our 3 week holiday in France. Quite apart from beautiful accommodation and surrounds, we felt so welcome and looked after by Marie and Francois. They were warm and kind, and made us feel... More

This delightful old manor house surrounded by mature trees and gardens created a beautiful setting for our three night stay in Aix. Mary and Francois were gracious hosts who aimed to please with unexpected touches like happy hours and special breakfasts. Their accomodating approach and the warm atmosphere of their home also encouraged considerable interaction amongst guests. Combined, this acted... More

This is a hotel (or B&B) that you will wish this is your home. I have been travelled for many countries and many hotel, this one may not be the most luxery one but is, of course, the warmest one. Marie & François are so nice and helpful. If I have chance to go to Provence again, I will stay... More

My husband I have just returned from a glorious five night stay. We cannot elaborate on what has been said in previous posts-it is all true! The accommodations and the location cannot be beat, but what sets this B&B apart is the hospitality. Marie and Francois really go the extra mile to make you appreciate the whole area of Provence.... Spent 3 nights here as a stopover on a trip from Italy to Paris. Hosts Marie and Francois were great. Both speak English; so there are no language difficulties. Couldn't be nicer or more welcoming. Great source of information about Aix and day trips to surrounding areas. Lovely house and garden. Beautiful room. Very clean. Breakfasts were delicious. Location is... More

My husband and I stayed with Marie and Francois recently while on a week long trip to Provence. We were introduced to the warmth and hospitality of Marie and Francois when we arrived earlier than check in and they allowed us to picnic in the poolhouse while they finished readying our room. The room was lovely, on the third floor,... More

I cannot overstate how positive our experience was staying at Pavillon de la Torse and highly recommend that anyone traveling through or basing themselves in Provence stay here at least one night, but recommend a few night. My wife and I stayed for 5 nights in the Pauillac room. The property is very charming, well maintained and peaceful - the... More

Had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, and had great service. Breakfast was great in the morning as well. The yard was great and the pool house was a great place to sit and read and store our food. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked great! It was awesome that the trails were along... More

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Pavillon de la Torse in September while holidaying in France. It is a beautiful B&B with lovely folks and excellent facilities. We booked this place based on the reviews & recommendations on Tripadvisor and so glad we did. Marie & Francoise are gracious hosts, friendly, welcoming & helpful. During our stay, they were... More
