My husband and I had the best stay at this picturesque property! Marie and Francois were such wonderful hosts...preparing lovely breakfasts, recommending the best restaurants/sights and were very enjoyable to chat with! Our room was spacious, extremely clean, quiet and had a lovely outlook. The whole property is stunning, with gorgeous interiors, beautiful grounds and a magnificent long driveway that... More

Marie and Francois were wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond by giving us a tour of the 16 th century basement and serving us homemade yogurt. The rooms were very lovely. The location was perfect for us to take day trips and return to the peaceful haven. We would highly recommend staying at Pavillon de la Torse

I had the pleasure of staying here in July 2014 while holidaying in Provence with my parents. Francois and Marie were the perfect hosts. The property is lovingly restored and set in well kept, beautiful gardens. We were very comfortable and well looked after. With the break neck speed and pressures of modern life, sometimes we don't take enough time... More

We have stayed at Pavillon de la Torse twice. The first time was a few years ago as a bed and breakfast. Marie and Francois prepared great breakfasts and we had fun happy hours. We had so much fun that a group of us wanted to return last fall. Marie and Francois suggested we rent the entire house. At first... More

The Pavillon de la Torse enjoys an extraordinary and breathtaking setting and is even more grand in person than in photos. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the common areas are gorgeous. Marie prepared delicious breakfasts every morning, and Francois could not have been more helpful with sightseeing and restaurant advice (definitely try to visit Cassis and drive... More

The Pavillon de la Torse was the perfect place to stay. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Our room (Margaux) was spacious, beautifully decorated and had a window with views of the grounds. It is down a long tree lined driveway from the main road, so it is very quiet and tranquil. Our hosts, Marie and Francois, are friendly and very... More

This place is even more gorgeous and charming than the pictures! Our room was bright and airy and clean and the common areas and grounds of the place are just so breathtaking -- it really felt like something we could never ever get at home in NYC or in a hotel around Aix. Marie and Francois were incredible hosts--they recommended... More

We stayed at Pavillon de la Torse in September. This beautiful home is an oasis in the city of Aix-en-Provence; Marie and Francois, charming gracious hosts. The breakfasts are beyond delicious, with homemade yogurt and pancakes to name a few. The house is walking distance from the centre of town, the rooms comfortable and spacious, the grounds breathtaking and peaceful.... More

After an early rise to catch a flight from Prague to Marseille, by the time my husband and I reached the Pavillion de la Torse, we let out a sigh of relief at the sight of the tree-lined entryway and palacial grounds leading up to the villa. A happy hour was already in progress, so Francoise (the host) offered to... More

Pavillon de la Torse is a beautiful refuge about a 15 minute walk from the center of Aix-en-Provence. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. Mary made delicious breakfasts every morning. One day we were served waffles, another cheese omelets, a third pancakes. Francois gave us helpful tour advice. One evening, they hosted a lovely happy hour for all the... More
