I've just returned from a week at Pavillon de la Torse feeling totally relaxed. i was fortunate enough to be able to book the entire property for a week in early August for my family. I'd hoped that we could all be together in a relaxed environment and spend quality time together, i was not disappointed. It is a most... More

We recently completed yesterday a 14 night stay at Pavillon de la Torse with our two daughters, aged five and 18 months, and their elderly grandparents. The property itself is wonderful and the location is extremely convenient for visits to Aix en Provence. We enjoyed ourselves enormously. Unfortunately, however, our magical experience was soured by our interactions with Francois and... More

From July 25 to August 16, we rented the whole house by the week instead of running Pavillon de la Torse as a B&B. The fist stay was 2 weeks, the second stay was 1 week. The renters came through a rental agency located in London, England. We were on site for one hour for check-in and came back at... More

This property has it all: excellent accommodations, great location, and wonderful hosts. The lovely grounds have multiple lounging areas and the property is bordered by park with several walking trails. I have stayed here half a dozen times and the rooms and common areas are both lovely and very comfortable. The hosts are extremely helpful with suggestions and insights, and... More

Our family of 4 spent 5 nights in this excellent B&B, an oasis in Aix-De-Provence. The rooms were spotless, quiet and very comfortable. There are well equipped sitting rooms for guests on 2 floors. Marie & Francois were wonderful hosts who were both warm and welcoming. They could not have been more helpful - Francois' suggestions for restaurants and places... More

So convenient for the centre of Aix and visiting some great sights in Provence. The hosts are fantastic, you really do feel extremely welcome and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend this property. Only down side, .. it's a little pricey as B&B's go, especially when you spend so much time away from the accommodation. Thanks Marie... More

So many people have written excellent reviews of this hotel that it is difficult to find anything new or original to add. I can only confirm what others have said about it. We stayed at Pavillon de la Torse for a delightful two nights in July 2014. The B&B is conveniently located, an easy 15 minute walk from the B&B... More

Loved our visit in Aix-en-Provence and enjoyed our four night stay at Pavillon de la Torse. Our hosts Marie and Francois are very helpful in making excellent local dinner recommendations and even the reservations-great with suggestions and mapping out our travel to Luberon, the outdoor market in Lumerin, Les Baux, etc. Great room size, great breakfasts, spectacular outdoor swimming pool-you... It has been 2 weeks since we left Marie and Francois and their beautiful Pavillon. Each day that passes we remind ourselves of the wonderful time we had and how lucky we were to share their exceptional hospitality and home. Notwithstanding the fact that we had a 'crisis' in the middle of one night requiring 2 ambulances and 6 medics,... More

A lovely place to stay in Aix. Marie and Francois are excellent hosts. The room was spacious with a lovely view of the gardens, everything was spotless and the breakfasts were very good. It is about twenty minutes on foot to the town centre.

My parents and I enjoyed our 3 night stay here immensely. The grounds are breathtaking and the hospitality unforgettable. Francois and Marie provide impeccable details on where to eat, where to go, and how to get there all the while cooking up incredible Provencal cuisine for breakfast and aperitif. A little slice of Provence-style country living just minutes from the... More
