We stayed briefly in August, before commencing a walking tour in the Alps (French / Swiss border). We have stayed in Aix before in more expensive hotels, but comments from friends drew us to the du Globe. And were we glad they did, great little hotel, charming, helpful staff, affordable prices, nice little roof top spot to enjoy a lazy... More

Quick check-in with very friendly staff. The parking garage is a little difficult to find, but not too far away from the hotel. The room and bathroom were basic, a little small, but clean and comfortable and a good value. The hotel is in a good location and within walking distance to the old city and plenty of restaurants.

This is a superb place for budget travelers not staying in Aix for long. I was there overnight as I'd gone for a concert that let out too late for me to drive home. It was also during an August heatwave and I was extremely grateful for the air conditioning which functioned very well. The room was tiny, had a... More

We spent one saturday night here. The room was kind of simple but had actually everything we needed: quiet, very clean, dark in the night, good aircon, flat TV, good mattress, etc... The hotel is in the center of town, 2mn away from the beginning of the old quarter and all the restaurants. The thermal spa is also very close... More

Nice, not expensive, well located close to the old city . Clean and simple room. You better book a room close to the little garden on the first floor, not noisy . Garage very small and not easy, maximum length of your car 4m50 and you have to leave your keys at the reception desk . Breakfast simple and self... More

The hotel has been nicely renovated. The room was very nice and clean. Beautiful bathroom but we had trouble figuring out the shower system and after one shower the water was cold. Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. It is an easy walk- 15 minutes to the bus to take you to the TGV station. The hotel is centrally located but... More

This is an affordable option in Aix-en-Provance. The room we had apparently been renovated recently. It faced the street, but was't noisy at all. Beds were OK. breakfast is extra, but it was worth it.

Boy was this a great find! The entire hotel seems to have been renovated recently into a slightly modern style boutique but without the boutique price. Rooms are spacious, super clean and brightly colored. There's a garage attached for the motorbike I rented, and a sumptuous breakfast is available for purchase and boy is it worth it!!! Delicious and very... More

Stayed here for 5 days in October. It is in a great location minutes from the center of town. Clean, room, helpful staff. The only downside was the wifi was unreliable. We could get in on but it was slow and intermittent most of the time. Coffe was great, breakfast was average, the standard bread, croissants, and cereal.
