Brilliant location in the middle of the old town and very easy to get out and about. Big draw was the free parking, a rareity in old Aix. Very pretty courtyard and cloisters out the back which makes for a lovely afternoon tipple area (as long as you organise your own!). The rooms are adequately sized but the walls are... more

I selected this hotel due to the price and also from the cute pictures. I thought "if is is nearly as good as it seems, I will be happy." It was great! The staff were warm and welcoming. In old cities like Aix, finding a good parking spot is worth its weight in gold and they have a great courtyard... more

We were lucky to bump into a lovely gentleman at Aix's TGV, who recommended us this place, when we missed our stop at Avignon. Basically, we just wanted somewhere in town to stay for 2 nights, where we can easy grab good food, and roam around town, and we got it - actually even more than we expected. As we... more

Great location, very quiet rooms. We stayed 3 nights, but the second night we realized we had been bitten by bedbugs. If they can get rid of them, I would recommend the hotel. more

I often travel to Aix-en-Provence through work. It's an amazing town and a real pleasure to get out and about in of an evening. If you can't find food to suit in Aix-en-Provence, don't worry about it, you're already dead. If I'm travelling on my own, I'll always try Le Manoir first. It's cheap, is bang in the middle of... more

One December night in Le Manoir was decent but I would not have stayed longer. The room was depressingly small, though the bathroom was surprisingly generous and included a tub. The desk staff were helpful, the location is great as is the parking. I guess, for the money (80 euro for 2) it was a good deal. But it is... more

Not a bad hotel but the owner was Basil Fawlty a la francaise. He had a go at our 3 year old son for moving little stones in the car park around under his foot. We were watching our son to ensure he was not damaging anything but the owner castigated us in very uncivil french for our son's lack... more

Le Manoir is centrally located and the added advantage of a car park is a bonus. The central location allowed us to explore Aix on foot during the day and to return later for a stroll after our evening meal. The rooms were comfortable and clean and reasonably priced. The two ladies who were on the reception desk were extremely helpful... more

Hotel Le Manoir was everything I had read about...clean, conveniently located, yet small and non-air-conditioned for 80 euros for a double. I even felt safe walking around at night because it's a college town. The property is difficult to rate because it met my needs of a basic room for the night, but my 70+ year old mother needed a... more

My husband and I stayed here for four nights in May. Unfortunately the walls in this hotel are extremely thin so you can hear other guests in the adjoining rooms flushing toilets, showering and walking and talking in the hallway. Despite wearing earplugs the noise from these activities disturbed our sleep. The bedroom and bathroom were clean but very small,... more
