Ignore the shabby laneway entrance - like us your initial disappointment will change once you enter the peaceful grounds of the property. This aparthotel looked stunning in the pics I saw on the Citea website/online, however I was a little disappointed when with this place for real. Our stay for 3 nights at the Bastide was nice, though very hot! There are fans available, though not well known. We skipped their breakfast and bought pastries in town the night before to eat in the room. Bus #6 stops down the drive and took us to center of town each day. Clean, basic and nice! more

Almost wound up at the Ibis after a hot and long day of driving. Accidently found this place as we missed the drive for the Ibis. The Bastide is a restaured country home of former French King Rene (14 century). They have turned it into a hotel with studio and mezzanine appts.
